Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Freehold Township

I was here at 3:15 only 1 customer ahead of me..I found out Matt is the 1 that greeted me and said..I'll be right with you..meanwhile the guy that cooks on the grill was having conversation with a young man getting off his shift..I order the cheese steak requested provolone cheese Matt set up everything for John to cook my cheese steak sub when John finally stopped BS-ing around I watch John throw away some of the cheese Matt had sliced up for my sub. When I questioned John ( he has a beard) said oh you wanted that on your sandwich..YES because the cheese steak came with extra cheese..after I paid my with my loyalty points and left the store John found it very funny for whatever his reason..I'm only giving 3 stars becuse Matt was excellent ( he was on the register) but this John if that's his real name needs customer service training and also NEEDS to wear gloves when cooking people food. Matt did have his gloves on...I'm going to start going back to the ocean twp or Neptune jersey Mike's..because I never get attitudes at those stores..again Matt was great but John needs training and to also wear his gloves instead of BS-ing around with coworker that's off the clock assit the customers inside the store! Waited 10.mins before he even started cooking my sub when I was the only customer there waiting to be serviced ..another customer came in before I was checked out..Freehold Jersey Mike's needs to do better and hire more people like Matt but my recipe shows...

A year later, and I made the mistake of ordering from this location again. I ordered a giant #5(ham, cappacuolo, prosciuttini, and provolone) for $18.95. They gave me a #2 instead(ham, cappacuolo, and provolone). DoorDash redelivered my sandwich, but there was no oil and vinegar on it. It’s really not worth it to order from this location. They’re overpriced and constantly make mistakes. They post pictures that show subs that are piled high, but that is not what you get. Their sandwiches are skimpy. They don’t even apply adequate seasoning. They are pathetic and take no pride in doing their job correctly. Previous review: This was my skimpy $11.20 roast beef and provolone sub. They gave me the dried out end that was riddled with fat. I used to order from here a lot, but this is precisely why I haven’t ordered in 3 months and probably won’t ever order again. I’m sure the person who made this sandwich wouldn’t have used this piece of roast beef if he was making it...

I cannot wait for the Howell Jersey Mikes to finish remodeling . I went to the Freehold location .First of all - they made me wait in line while they took 3 other customers orders - when all I needed to do was pick up my READY MADE SANDWICH. So when I finally waited in line for them to make the 3 other customers orders, and opened my sandwich, I discovered the lettuce was dark green - so I’m assuming it romaine lettuce , not the shredded lettuce they usually use, and this was very unappetizing, and I spent even more time picking it off . So between them not using the correct lettuce, and making me wait in line for an additional almost 20 minutes just to PAY for my sandwich, I must say they do not have it together here . Also the amount of meat they give is inadequate , especially compared to the sandwiches made at the Howell Jersey Mikes. I really hope management reads these reviews and improves the quality of service and customer service as well at...
