留湘小聚店 Ping's Bistro Warm Springs — Restaurant in Fremont

Very disappointed with the food quality and taste! I have been to another Fremont store (the original one) many times several years ago when I was in Bay Area, which gave me a great impression. Today I’m traveling here again for holidays, and very happy to find out that Ping’s Bistro has opened a new store, and thought give it a try.

We ordered a course of fish, pig feet, and steamed egg. The fish and pig feet are way toooo salty! We couldn’t eat them even with a lot of white rice! We asked the waitress and the staff, and they said this is how the dishes prepared and cooked. Unacceptable……Also, it was such a waste of food and money, since we couldn’t finish the meal and have to leave a large amount of food on the table, and the dinner costs us almost $100 in total for two people.

In summary, we won’t come here again. I hope the owner can read the review and possibly take care of these issues and make...

Amazing food, great decor and attentive service! What more can we ask for?

We arrived at opening on Sat for our party of 6 plus 1 infant. You order through a QR code and food came steadily from the kitchen. There were so many delicious dishes and I highly recommend the mashed potatoes! It is not like mashed potatoes in western cuisine, give it a try and experience the difference. The potato salad, fried rice, fish and other dishes were yummy as well. There's a Yunnan emphasis / influence on the dishes here, and my husband's family friends from Yunnan feel the food is pretty authentic.

With our large party and the large portions of food, we quickly ran out of table space. The wait staff were timely in transferring food to smaller dishes as we ate to make room for other dishes rolling out of the kitchen.

There's a good amount of parking in the complex. Come experience Yunnan...

We ordered fried rice from this restaurant, and what happened next was truly shocking. I found a large piece of glass in my food and unknowingly bit into it. The glass shattered into three pieces, two of which are shown in the picture, while the smallest one isn’t. I felt an immediate sharp pain. And I still felt the impact for hours afterward.

Can you imagine if this had happened to a child? The consequences could have been even more severe.

I have already scheduled a dentist appointment to assess any potential trauma to my teeth. This kind of negligence is unacceptable, and I hope action is taken to prevent it from happening to anyone...
