I want to start by saying, I love Krispy Kreme donuts. They are something truly special when they are HOT and FRESH, and Krispy Kreme as a business knows this. That’s why they have “Hot Light” hours. It’s a huge draw for their business, they market it! I have found that this location is consistently short staffed, with unreliable “Hot Light” hours, and they almost REFUSE to give you the hot donuts off the conveyor belt. I call ahead to make sure there are donuts coming out on the conveyor belt (since the app and neon sign are not reliable), I repeatedly try to confirm with whomever is working the drive-thru order window (and they always dodge the question no matter how many times I ask them), I then try to confirm with the worker at the window before they are handed to me that these are hot and fresh, just to be handed the box and it be room temperature. So then you think, well don’t go through the drive thru…I would if the lobby was open, but it’s not since they’re short staffed. I’m not the one for confrontation, so usually I’ll just go home disappointed, but today we actually called since we had jumped through so many hoops to get the whole Krispy Kreme experience we pay the premium for. We were told that the donuts are going to cool down before they’re handed to us…I’ve been to Krispy Kreme enough to know that at every other location I’ve been to, if you ASK for hot and fresh when they have them hot and fresh, they will pull them off for you…HOT AND FRESH, drive-thru or not. But they insisted that the room temperature donuts we received were as hot and fresh as they come. Krispy Kreme is a pretty reliable chain with a consistent product, this just comes down to them not understanding the brand and having to survive on insufficient numbers in staff. Krispy Kreme donuts are overpriced and I am willing to pay that AND jump through all the ridiculous hoops to ensure my best chance at success, because the end product is worth it to me. But even doing everything I can, they make it near impossible. Then I can’t justify the time, the drive, the money, and the disappointment. I want this location to succeed, I was sad to see the previous one go, but something’s gotta change. Krispy Kreme donuts that are not hot and fresh don’t compare in affordability and taste of a ma and pop donut shop down the street from most people’s homes, in my opinion. So I hope that they can hire more and...

As a loyal Krispy Kreme customer, I’m deeply disappointed by the blatant lack of integrity and poor service at this location. On 3/26/2025, I called ahead to confirm availability of the Chocomania Specialty Dozen (promoted 3/24–3/26) and was assured there were “a few left,” with the employee adding that if stock was low, they’d supplement my order with glazed donuts. I drove across town specifically for this offer, only to be told upon arrival that they were “out of the special” and that “the offer ends when supplies run out.”
When I politely referenced my phone call, the employee dismissively stated, “Sorry we can't,” with zero empathy or effort to resolve the issue. This contradicts both the phone conversation and the promotion’s fine print, which states the offer is valid “while supplies last” but does not clarify that stores can outright refuse substitutions when stock is low—something your own phone staff suggested was possible.
What hurts most is the hypocrisy. Krispy Kreme’s brand promises warmth and indulgence, but this interaction was cold and transactional. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but this location’s apathy has driven me to avoid it entirely—I’ll now drive 3+ hours to a Bay Area store instead.
To the owner: Scroll through these reviews. Count how many mention “rude employees,” “false advertising,” or “never having stock.” This isn’t a one-time issue—it’s a pattern of neglect. Your team’s refusal to honor basic customer service (or even attempt to make things right) is costing you repeat business. Other locations manage promotions gracefully; why can’t yours?
Until employees are trained to respect customers’ time and loyalty, this store will keep hemorrhaging ratings. I hope this feedback sparks change—for your sake and future customers’.

Read moreOk so I saw the commercial for Limited Edition Mystery Machine Scooby Doo donut box like on Oct 26. which is kinda late. But today on Oct 28 my sister and I decided to pick up a box for the family but, the app didn’t have it….. so she called in to check if they have it, and they said they will put it aside for her and only ask her name. Fast forward. And we got there, not too busy , few worker and all. And was excited to see the Goodies! But….. comes to our turn and we told the lady our name, and she went to go get like 4 box of donuts and we got confused and said “miss I think you got the wrong order??” She said the name and we said yes, but it was the wrong card number, and phone number… apparently someone order too with the same name as my sister, so we asked to order on the spot. She looked dead, and we feel really bad too. So we only got 3 of the Scooby doo design donuts since they didn’t have the others (smh… the box picture have all of the design though…) and how can you not have the star of the show Scooby Doo Donut…?.?.? But let me base a few probelms, First and foremost: where are the communications with the Fans of Donut and Scooby Doo show? Second: there wasn’t any of the Scooby doo box but regular Krispy Kreme box only. Third: the promotion was really bad. A lot of fans and people I know, said they didn’t know about the commercial until the last week of October?!? Fourth: 21.99 for a box but didn’t get the money value of its worth??? Stale price and stale donuts??? Last but not least the Fifth: service just went up to cloud nine apparently. Only one location and it’s the worst location…. If you don’t have anything prepare for the promotion, please let people know through the website, the app or in store…. Really wasted people time and gas. Sad to say as a fan of donut and The Scooby Doo show, it was a real disappointment and shame. Side note: in the picture, one of the family took a donut so worry not about the missing one. So yeah short to say, we went trick’ or’ Treat and got the trick but...
