Method of Escape — Attraction in Fresno

Method of Escape was the worst escape room experience that we have had. The lady who checked us in was pleasant, but overwhelmed. The room was very challenging and we got stuck several times. We would ask for clues over and over before any help came. Eventually, the help completely stopped. We asked and asked but got no response. After about 15 minutes of being hopelessly stuck, we decided to leave even though the time had not run out. I enjoyed being there with my friends, but there was a problem. Brooke, the woman running the escape adventure, pretty much ruined it for me. She was supposed to give us clues, but as soon as we got into our room she decided she needed to use the bathroom. She was unavailable for a full ten minutes. I left the escape room to look for her and found her coming out of the bathroom. She was very unkind and yelled at me "go back in the room." Ten minutes out of a 60 minute experience is 17% of our time. It would have been a fair transaction if she had added that wasted time at the end of our hour, but she didn't. We went here for our group bachelor/bachelorette night and we had an absolute blast! We did Men vs Women so we each had our own room to escape. Its such a great bonding experience with your friends and family. You don't realize how much you have to communicate to each other. The rooms were a blast, they each had their own themes, and had their own difficulty levels. Some of our friends were a little hesitant at first as they weren't sure they were going to have fun, but every single one of us had a blast, we couldn't stop talking about it the whole night.
