Summerfield Inn — Hotel in Fresno

This property is a joke, rooms is not properly clean, bed and pillows uncomfortable, the bed sheets and towels had yellow stains (disgusting) the room was too cold because the door is not insulated properly, kept the heater on/off most of night which makes the room very dry and hard to breath, on the second day we left at 10am and came back at 9pm for a room with no hot water, they gave me the key to go take shower in a different room has no heater, I had no choice but to go to that room, but then I couldn’t even dry my hair because the hair dryer was broken in that room with no heater at all, I was freezing had to bundle myself up and run back to my room in freezing temperatures, I woke up sick the next day, the staff was super rude especially when I asked for extra towels, they have the stupidest towels ever like sand paper and the size of baby towels, they will say only 4 allowed for each room, I’m posting pictures of the size of their bath towel, it was horrible 2 nights, even the breakfast she didn’t tel us what time they offer the breakfast, I found out the next day when it was over, the breakfast is from 630-830 am and we missed it both days, they don’t deserve even half a star, the stingy owners neglected the property, they don’t care about customers, only your money and good luck to you staying in that filthy property. I am excited to write this review an confident to give it 5 stars if I could I would give way more stars but the site only allows 5. I would like to compliment the room it was outstandingly clean an smell great, the sheets smell so fresh, the lay out of the room was big like a tiny apartment, the beds where so comfy and big, I really enjoyed the coffee maker very up to date I also enjoyed the high def clear tv on the wall there where many channels to choose from. Overall all the amenities that was mention in the website that would be in the room was there plus more, so I never had to leave my room it was a easy check in and a good night sleep the management was on site, she very polite the breakfast was satisfying, the pool was crystal clear, the laundry room was so clean, parking is available directly in front of your door that was a great perk, it was quite, safe, and many places to have a great meal and shopping just in walking distance. I would give it five stars but every night that we got back to our hotel room we were locked out. My husband would have to go to the front desk and they would say, "we only booked it for one night, sorry." Not worth five stars right? Everything else was great; the rooms were clean, the pool was cool and the food, well, I didn't get up early enough for the breakfast (7 a.m.-9 a.m.). 😕 The towels they provide for the pool are tiny, they only cover your shoulders to mid-back. The beds were comfy but it was the comfort of the pillows that sent me into dreamland every night! 😉They provide Wi-Fi, cable and even a desk with a comfy desk chair, which was very convenient because I had school work to do while at the hotel. The housecleaning woman was very kind, sadly I didn't catch her name. They only have a soda vending machine and ice, no snack machine for late night munchies.😔 but its very neat that your parking is right in front of your door. It was a great, cheap stay.
