Yamamori — Restaurant in Fresno

First let me say Eric our server was excellent. Before we ordered, I looked up and a guy working at the bar had his back to me and was popping a pimple on the back of his head. I asked Eric if he would be coming anywhere near our food and he said no! That is THE ONLY reason I stayed! But, the “2nd in command” person in charge on 3/5/25 @aprox 3 pm. While my daughter and I were the only customers in the restaurant for our very first visit following a Dr. apt. Across the highway. We both ordered Lobster Hibotchi , hers with steak ordered med Rare , on the rare side, and mine with shrimp, both with fried rice with hers having no vegetables. The food came. She got double rice both with vegetables, I got her rice with no vegetables. Easy fix, I asked for a plate and we switched it ourselves. Then she tried her steak it not only wasn’t rare it was extremely well done & the Lobster was very TOUGH. For over a $100.00 lunch for 2 when you complain wouldn’t you expect something to be done. It took major convincing just to get her a new steak! Anything else the 2nd in command told me was “normal for Hibotchi, they aren’t known for their Hibotchi!” Really!!!! That’s the reason we came because of there advertising for Hibotchi!! He wouldn’t do anything. He was even rude to me and changed his tune when he overheard me tell Eric not to worry that I would give him a good review and that I had over 98000 Google followers (an email from Google). His entire attitude changed! But still did nothing to...

tonight, I had the pleasure of dining at Yamamori , and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. Our server, Janice, was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making excellent recommendations and ensuring our every need was met.

The sushi was, without a doubt, the highlight of the night. Each piece was expertly crafted, with fresh, flavorful ingredients and perfect presentation. The spicy tuna roll was a standout, with just the right amount of heat, and the salmon sashimi melted in my mouth. Tommy, the sushi chef, is a master of his craft, and his passion for his work is evident in every dish.

The service was top-notch, with Janice and the team ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates never empty. The restaurant's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is clear, and we left feeling full and content, already planning our next visit.

Wow! Yamamori just set the standard for sushi in Pearland. Some of these local #trendy restaurants need to take notes from these guys.

Where to start! Quality of the fish is Excellent! If you love sushi or sashimi, these are mush orders!

GET the White Tuna (Escolar) & Smoked Salmon!!! NOW!! The flavors are just exquisite. Plenty of pictures and video for you to check out our visit.

We tried a number of different rolls. The always safe bet to compare. Old faithful, Shaggy Dog. Great flavor. The new roll try out was the 288, was just as delicious.

Service? Top Notch! We had 3 different people checking on us non stop. We never had an issue with refills or ordering more. Only thing I can compare it to, is other restaurants with white linen top type service. These guys are on the ball.

Price? This is going to blow you away. Everything Posted and a few not. $21.00!!!!

I hope they maintain their quality across the board. Because they just got a lifetime customer with this visit.
