Hooters — Restaurant in Pearland

It was a very bad experience. We even complained to the manager. He was not receptive and we just left. The place was not busy. The waitress was not friendly. Our visit started off with the host taking us to a dirty table. We sat at the next clean table. The waitress walked by several times and after 20 minutes took our drink order. We ordered fried pickles, 20 wings with fries and a chicken salad. She brought our drinks pretty fast but never refilled. The pickles showed up after another 25 minutes. We asked for refills then which came shortly after. Our food came. No fries, blue cheese dip. We asked for ranch and no silverware. She brought silverware that was not wrapped after several more minutes. No conversation about the food and nor hospitality. Then we started to eat. The salad had overcooked hard chicken, iceberg lettuce and a onion slice. I took the salad to the kitchen and manager, because our waitress was no where to be found. I asked him to tell me what is wrong and he didn't know. I asked him to look at the menu and compare the ingredients. At that point I just asked for my check and Togo boxes. It gets better, the waitress tried to charge me for the salad. I asked for her to correct it and she did. At this time, the manager asked if he could make it better. I stated no and the waitress handed me the bill, rung me up and walked away. Horrible experience with many opportunities to correct by Hooters only to fail miserably. Worst experience I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Sat at the bar and bar tender might be pleasing to the eye, but has no clue when it comes to customer service. Ordered a margarita. The glass it was served in was not what you would expect a margarita in. It was a glass you’d get a milk in. Took a few minutes to get the drink. When I got it there was no salt on the rim. I wasn’t even asked if I wanted salt. Not a good start. I ordered a western bbq burger when she brought the drink. I had to initiate that. She wasn’t going to ask what I’d like to eat. The food took forever to come out. In fact two other tables that ordered after me got served first. Go figure right. So my order finally comes out and the fries were stone cold. The burger was so messy I used practically a whole roll of paper towels to wipe my fingers and face. I elected not to complain and ask for hot fries. After all I wanted Tots not fries anyway. I could only eat half the burger and two fries thinking maybe only one was cold. Shawna never came over to ask how was everything. She wasn’t like this with everyone sitting at the bar. She never looked at us always looking away. So when I wanted the bill, she finally came close enough so I could ask her for it. The atmosphere and activity was slow. There should not have been issues like this. It will be a long time before I go back to this place because I felt like the staff did not want...

My family and I came into the restaurant about 10:30 pm on a Friday night, we had just left urban air and it was about 11 of us 4 adults 3 teens and 4 toddlers under . The restaurant was practically empty and they didn’t close until 1 am. After ordering however, it took us forever to get our food. Then when the server started bringing the food out it came out 2 or 3 plates at a time and it was cold. My nephew didn’t get his food until everyone had mostly eaten all their food, and we we were ready to go. The waitress didn’t refill our drinks, we had to continue to ask her to refill our drinks, when she did decide to come back and check on us. I asked for the manager, and then the waitress informed me that it was the kitchens fault about the food, however that had nothing to do with her service. The food coming out cold means that it had been sitting there waiting to go out. When the manager came and we told her about the food not coming out at the same time and it was cold when it did come out, and how the waitress did not refill our drinks etc or inform us about the issues in the kitchen, I can say she was very apologetic and offered to take the food that came out late and cold off the bill. However, I would not recommend this restaurant as far as service goes, but they have great managers they need to choose...
