I used to order from this restaurant a lot in the past and today I wanted to dine in after not visiting this place in 5 years or so. So I came here with my fiancé and where do I begin
I enjoyed the interior design. Theyâve added a lot more decorations than what I last remembered.
We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, Jadoâz chicken pasta, small cup of tomato basil, small Greek salad, and the gyro pita with a side of Mac n cheese.
-Artichoke dip: great flavor, very cheesy, but not as good as I remember it to be.
-Tomato basil: this small cup of soup had so much sodium in it, itâs almost as if it was the last bit in the bottom of the pot.
-Greek salad: itâs a salad, what can go wrong right? Well the dressing was more olive oil than anything. The dressing is supposed to be a mixture of oregano, olive oil, and a little bit of lemon juice (depending on the restaurant). I got nothing but 95% olive oil and a dash of seasoning.
-Gyro pita: this was actually not that bad, but the tzatziki sauce tasted different from what I remember. Tzatziki is basically Greek yogurt with seasonings and cucumbers. For some reason I tasted feta mixed in with the sauce (or some kind of cheese that was curdled).
-Chicken pasta: so normally it is supposed to be served in a wine butter sauce, but instead of the wine butter sauce I usually get it with marinara sauce. WellâŠ.bad idea, the chicken was a little rubbery and the pasta was over cooked. The past tasted as if they pre-boiled it and then re-boiled it per order. The sauce was really sweet and honestly it tasted like it was canned.
-Mac n cheese: this was the one dish that I was looking forward to the most, but I was severely disappointed. The Mac n cheese was super watery, and had no flavor. I was really disappointed.
I asked the server if they recently changed their chef and sure enough they did. I didnât even bother getting dessert after I found that out. This restaurant used to be really great, but I guess not every restaurant can stay consistent. This was really...
Read moreOutstanding food for a reasonable price! This is one of my top favorite restaurants to eat. Itâs family own restaurant, which means you get to meet the people that work extremely hard to give you the best service. The cook Luigi goes above and beyond to make dilectable masterpieces catered to each customer that dines at Jadoâz. If you ever get the chance to speak to him, he is one of the nicest and likeable cooks Iâve ever had the pleasure to meet. The staff is wonderful and is always keeping up with any needs or questions you might have. For starters the calamari is so good! The marinera sauce is home made, itâs the right amount of goodness. I highly recommend trying the macaroni and cheese, thereâs none like it! Not even Delta Blues can compare! If youâre going on a date the pineapple seafood platter is for two. Now if you want to try something different each time you go here, always ask for the chef special. âYou always get something yummy and different!â. If by the end of your meal you arenât full be sure to to try the desserts, my all time favorite is the crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e. Cracking through the shell to get to the soft and sweet interior, it all melts in your mouth! I canât rave enough about this place, be sure to stop by and speak to the owner Jad. Heâs a super nice guy, that has done an tremendous job at creating a balanced ambiance for both the people that work there and those that have the opportunity to dine at Jadoâz. Be...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I try and convince my wife to eat hear quite a bit. She didnât like the food as much as I have in the past. With that said today she agreed to eat there for lunch being that it was Fatherâs Day. When we arrived we were greeted and seated by who I presume is the owner who was extremely nice. When the waitress (Mickey) was taking our order I asked for fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken (I order this every time I come here). She said we donât do that. I explained to her that it has never been an issue before. She continued to argue with me stating that she came from a Cajun restaurant and that they canât do it. Finally after a back and forth with the waitress she said she would check with the chef. When she brought the food out she brings me blacked shrimp Alfredo. I politely told her I ordered blackened chicken. She replied âare you sureâ to which I responded âyesâ. At this point she began to argue with me again saying that she is pretty sure that I ordered shrimp (I hate shrimp Alfredo). I responded with âI am sorry but I ordered chickenâ to which she responded âitâs fine, itâs whateverâ and took the plate back.
When I finally got the correct order the food was subpar at best (more of an Alfredo soup with GRILLED chicken).
Needless to say this will by my last meal at...
