Cookie Society-Prosper — Restaurant in Frisco

I really hate to leave this review because I’ve been a big fan of this bakery for years, especially the Frisco and Addison locations. I was excited when Prosper opened, but I’ve noticed the quality isn’t as consistent here. The staff may just need a bit more training; I’ve had a few dry cookies, and recently, two peach cobblers that weren’t fully baked (I’ll be returning them tomorrow — didn’t today because it’s Halloween and 380 is no joke!). After I return the cobblers; it’ll probably be my last time going to this location - too many disappointing experiences at the Prosper location.

I truly love this brand and respect the owner, who’s always been so kind. I’m only leaving this review in hopes that it reaches her and helps the Prosper location match the great quality I’ve always enjoyed at the other locations.

Update: I returned the underbaked cobblers (included pics in my update), and the clerk acknowledged the issue right away and replaced them with freshly baked ones. While I appreciated that, the interaction still felt a bit lacking — after my time and the inconvenience of returning the items, I wish there had been a little more effort to make it right and even sort of half way try to keep my business returning to the location (ex “due to the inconvenience here’s a free cookie or a coupon for next time” ). Every cookie from here literally tastes like the owner herself comes in every morning and bakes them from scratch because there is so much love put into these cookies! Our favorite ones by far are the banana pudding and the salted caramel! They do have monthly flavors that come out that are always tremendous as well. Way better than all of the other cookie places out there by far!

A little backstory, I fell in love with Cookie Society the first time I ever had their salted caramel cookie that was given out for free in the Capital One Lounge back in 2018 or 2019. Was actively looking up the company to invest in on the stock market so good. LOL

We moved to Prosper in 2023 and found out they had a franchise in Frisco so we’ve been going there and now we are so happy there is a new location closer to us. Every location seems to be consistent with the friendly staff and cleanliness which is awesome and shout out to Junior and Kaitlynn at this location they helped us tonight with our order, because they were sold out of the banana pudding cookie. We opted in for the Kings Cake cookie instead (a monthly flavor) and it was of course a hit.

Bottom line, if you want to spend your hard earned money on some cookies, it’s gotta be at...

We are a family of cookie snobs. As a baker myself, I always bake my own cookies and desserts. The idea of going to a cookie shop was just something I didn’t do. Last week before a trip, I wanted a cookie. I didn’t have time to bake, and I saw a Cookie Society location. I popped in and purchased a Chocolate Chip Cookie for myself and a Snickerdoodle for my daughter. That Chocolate Chip cookie was hands down THE BEST Chocolate Chip cookie I’ve ever had in my entire life. Perfection. The flavors were deep and perfectly balanced, not too sweet, perfectly cooked and the flakes of sea salt on top were just delicious. My son ate my daughter’s snickerdoodle and said it was delicious! Yesterday, after arriving home, I told my husband about the cookies. Chocolate Chip is his favorite and he is VERY picky. My son and I went to Cookie Society and picked up a four pack…Three Chocolate Chip and one Croissant cookie. Once again, amazing, the croissant cookie was perfection, innovative and delicious!
