I recently visited Freddy's, expecting to enjoy a delicious meal while accommodating my dietary restrictions due to wheat allergies and celiac disease. However, my experience at Freddy's left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. The lack of gluten-free options, specifically the absence of gluten-free buns, made it almost impossible for me to enjoy a meal that catered to my needs.
As someone who has to be cautious about consuming any form of gluten, finding restaurants that offer gluten-free alternatives is crucial for me. Unfortunately, Freddy's fails miserably in this regard. It is disheartening to see a popular establishment like Freddy's neglecting the needs of individuals with dietary restrictions.
While many other fast-food chains have recognized the importance of offering gluten-free options, Freddy's seems to be stuck in the past. It's worth noting that wheat allergies and celiac disease are prevalent health concerns, affecting a significant portion of the population. Yet, Freddy's fails to acknowledge this reality and continues to exclude customers like myself from enjoying their offerings.
The lack of gluten-free buns at Freddy's limits the menu options for people like me who cannot consume gluten. It is frustrating to see the same old burger and sandwich options, with no alternative choices to accommodate those with wheat allergies or celiac disease. It is a shame that Freddy's doesn't prioritize inclusivity and fails to recognize the importance of catering to diverse dietary needs.
Moreover, when I inquired about gluten-free options, the staff seemed ill-informed and unaware of any alternatives available. This lack of knowledge and training further exemplifies Freddy's disregard for customers with gluten-related health issues.
In this day and age, where awareness of dietary restrictions is increasing, it is essential for restaurants to adapt and provide options that accommodate various dietary needs. By neglecting to offer gluten-free buns and failing to educate their staff adequately, Freddy's falls far behind in meeting the expectations of a modern dining experience.
In conclusion, my visit to Freddy's was a frustrating experience due to their lack of gluten-free options, specifically the absence of gluten-free buns. I hope Freddy's takes customer feedback seriously and recognizes the importance of catering to individuals with wheat allergies and celiac disease. Until then, I cannot recommend Freddy's to anyone with dietary...
Read moreMy husband and I have lived in Little Elm for 14 years now and were excited when this location opened. We have been fans of Freddyâs for years and the food never disappoints. Tonight, however, my burger was undercooked and I had to ask to have it replaced with a well done burger. I went to the cashier to show her the burger and ask for another one to be made, but she couldnât be bothered to provide customer service and speak with her colleagues regarding the matter. Instead, she told me to go to the area where you pick up your food and âtell someone over there.â Well, while her customer service skills need work, Iâm glad she did because I had the pleasure of meeting a very nice young man who if isnât already a manager needs to be one. I walked up holding the burger, explained the situation and asked for another to be made. This young man whose name is Trent was polite, professional and did not hesitate to fix the issue. When he brought the freshly made burger out to my table he apologized for the wait and stated he just wanted to make sure it was perfect. He walked away and about a minute later looked over at me at the table and in a manner as to ask if it was good gave me a thumbs up to which I gave him a thumbs up in return. When speaking to me he said, yes maâam and did not present with any kind of negative attitude. You could tell he cared about wanting me to enjoy my burger and my experience and his positive attitude allowed for a not so big deal and small fix to remain a not so big deal as many of us know a negative attitude could have yielded very different results. I rarely write reviews, but was impressed by this young man and felt he needed and deserved to be acknowledged. To management, you have a winner on your hands with Trent and to his parents⌠KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! He is representing you well! Thanks again Trent for allowing me and my husband to end a very long work day on...
Read moreFreddyâs doesnât live up to expectations. The burger seems to be the standout, but given the chainâs recent launch, Iâm willing to cut them some slack due to potential overwhelm and high order volume. However, it appears that the issues stem from the cashier interactions. I was asked if I wanted to round up for a donation, but I declined, as I suspect that donating to large corporations mainly serves as a tax write-off. The cashier responded by laughing, which was rather off-putting.
The fries resembled crispy potato chip crumbs typically found at the bottom of a bag, and the cheese curds had an odd resemblance to moldy cheese and the texture of tofu. While the shortage of sauces isnât their fault, whatâs frustrating is the evident lack of effective communication between cashiers and the kitchen. For instance, although I ordered ranch and the cashiers added it to my order, the kitchen didnât receive the memo.
As for the food, it was rather ordinary. The burger, supposedly the highlight, was only marginally better than a Whataburger burger due to its slightly fresher taste. Moving to my experience at the counter where I ordered concretes, I provided clear instructions for a brownie shake and a peanut butter banana shake. Yet, when I received the shakes, I was surprised to find that the brownie shake was made with vanilla ice cream, and the peanut butter shake lacked bananas. This confusion was puzzling given that the front counter didnât seem particularly busy.
For a satisfying dining experience, it might be wise to seek out places with more expertise. However, I must acknowledge the kind and hardworking kitchen staff, particularly the young boy at the front. Even though I didnât catch his name, his dedication certainly deserves recognition and perhaps a raise. Despite these points, I bid farewell to Freddyâs, with no intention of making a...
