The most awkward drive thru experience. I haven't been to this Wendy's in a while. I was reminded on why I stopped going. I went thru the drive-thru, girl taking my order seemed annoyed by my very simple order, you can hear it in her remarks when she was taking my order. I drive up to the pay window, she just opened up window and gave me a horrible look, said nothing and just motioned for me to pay and place payment in her hand then just closed the window. It felt weird. It was not at all crazy busy, one car had just left before me and one was just driving up. Then I looked forward as I was looking at sun glare, just then I felt a strong poke in my arm!! I turn around startled and she is just looking at me poking my arm with my card and receipt. I was in shock and asked, "were you just poking me?" and she looked away and closed door. She did not smile ever, had no facial expression, did not speak a word to me! I was in shock, drove up to get my food at next window. I was hoping this next person would make up for that weird interaction but nope. This girl spoke NOO Words. She did not smile, she opened up window handed me two drinks and closed door. Never made eye contact, did not smile. It felt like I was the most hated person there, hard to explain. She said nothing about having to wait for my food, I just stared at the back of her head because I was afraid to look away and get poked again. After several minutes of waiting, she finally comes back to the window, opens it and just hands it to me, again noooo words, no smile, not even a raised eyebrow and she just closed window. I finally just waved at her tried to get her attention. She hesitated then finally opened window, said nothing. I told her she and that other girl both needed to work on their customer service skills. She cut me off and said, "I can't control what she does." I said, "ok, that is fair but YOU need to work on it, you did not speak a word to me, did not even look at me and it was just very awkward." She said, "ok." Just then her manager heard me and came to window, I quickly said that both girls need work on their customer service and the first one that took my money actually nudged and poked me with my card instead of speaking to me, she never even told me my total. I explained that it was just an overall bad experience and they needed to work on their customer service skills. He kindly apologized and said he would speak to them. I have worked in customer service and I now work with patients in a clinic and those girls need to be trained on how to talk to people. It was more than just the "work ethic" and "customer service" issues, they need to learn about manners and just how to be a decent human being. Will not visit this Wendy's until I can read some positive reviews. That place needs a major staff make over. Not the first I had a bad experience there and I have heard others have bad...
Read moreI'm not fond of leaving bad reviews, but I always try to be honest with my criticism, and unfortunately, that means sometimes there will periodically be a bad experience that needs sharing. This Wendy's location is one such example.
The wife and I were returning from a pediatric appointment for our daughter, and since she is 5 months pregnant, she sometimes has cravings, this time it was for Wendy's. This location is on our way home so I didn't even think to look at the reviews for this location, but oh, how I wish I had! Not only was the customer service incredibly subpar with unfriendly, but admittedly basic professional, staff, the quality of food was awful. There's not usually much to expect from fast food chains, with the exception of Chick-fil-A, but this was just dad. Although they don't look it in the pictures, our fries were loaded with grease and over cooked, giving them that weird, burned grease taste and smell that coats your mouth and lingers most of the day. However, the worst part was by far the fact that my chicken sandwich had wax paper in it! You know when you take a cheese slice and have to remove the wax paper attached to it? Yeah, somebody didn't do that.
Went through the drive-through and took it home, so I didn't notice it until later, but once I bit into that wax paper I tried calling the location we had gone to. To this day I still can't get in contact with anyone, no one ever picks up the phone and it's been a over a week at this point. Not only that, but I can't get in touch with anyone online. I've tried contacting Wendys customer service on the website, even filling out a customer support form, but haven't heard back from them either. So overall just very poor customer care going on here in my opinion, both on the store level and the online team, not to mention the clear lack of kitchen basics, (food is generally NOT supposed to have NON-food items in them). At this point I just want a refund for the two orders we made that day and be done with it.
All in all, avoid this location like the plague and don't say no one warned you. Here's your sign.
I left the same review on Yelp a week ago, and still no response from the store, customer...
Read moreFood is not excellent here I go to get sausage and biscuits in the morning barely any gravy or sausage, you still see neither biscuits is covered in gravy even when paying for extra. Ordered a Dave’s double special instructions and I get it plain, not what I requested. Now I’ve just left there’s paying for a sour cream n chive potato with cheese and I get no cheese, no sour cream and then the potato is over cooked burned inside and when I call to tell them they won’t answer the phone several times only to finally drive back to get told they only had two potatoes left and I bought one and the other one sold I’ll have to wait 20 minutes for another one. Why you don’t have your food stocked and ready to come out when supplies are low and it’s only 7:35pm you don’t close until 11pm? Keep in mind the teenagers at this location will play in your food, after leaving you in line for so long. You would think they are short staffed when you ask them why the wait after you see them hanging out the drive thru giving the customers high fives and you’re waiting to place your order. Don’t complain about it. Because when I did they gave Me a Dave’s double with one patty plain and old fries and the burger wasn’t wrapped correctly so I had to drive back thru the line and get my money back afraid of My food being played with more...
