Dismissed everything i said,...cussed at me multiple times,....even went as far as blaming me for the lack of accommodation because i didn't wait long enough eye roll, ....completely ignored the fact that the one accommodation they offered, which i mentioned, was to sit in an area where my chair & i cannot fit, so how is that an accomodation,...i was told THE WHOLE PLACE was private, more than once,...and the topper --- they took ZERO responsibility for anything. I don't care who said "THE WHOLE PLACE",...it's that it came from a representative of the owner. If they didn't have the authority to say these things to me, then why were they saying it and getting involved? They say they treated me very well every other time before this. Yes, that is totally true. But that doesn't excuse this time. Maybe, just maybe, if you had drove to a venue for a public show, only to get there and find out that it is private, your understanding of this situation would improve? If someone had come up to me and said "Sorry, you can't sit here, but don't worry, we'll accommodate you somehow", this wouldn't even be an issue. But that is not what happened. When i asked outright where i could sit, all i received in reply was the same 3 words again, "THE WHOLE PLACE", for a second time. This came from who i believe is the owner's father, not the owner himself, as he said. But to be clear, his representative told me "THE WHOLE PLACE", more than once. They also mentioned that the folks who rented the space PAID FOR IT,.. multiple times they mention this. All i could think to myself was "if i pay some extra money, can i get good service too?" Maybe it would be better to not rent out your only viewing area to one group, when you already advertised a free to the public show, knowing you will have other paying customers showing up, expecting it to be a public show, as advertised? So, as it turns out, i have no choice but to make certain, for myself and my own wellbeing, that this never happens again, by not putting myself in this situation in the first place. It's the only way to be certain that i won't go through this again,...or get cussed at again in reply to my concerns,...or find out a public show has suddenly been made private, etc.
I was told i didn't even stay 2 minutes. WRONG! I went to the patio outside after i was removed due to the private party, and sat there for a good 5 minutes, to drink the beer i bought & paid for. Then i went back in for a few more minutes, until i finally realized that there was no accommodation coming (at least, not beyond the one that wouldn't work due to my chair not fitting in the space), and i left. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. So to avoid ever being put in the same situation ever again, i will never drive all the way to this venue again for a public show, only to find out after i get there that "things change daily", it is now private, and i'll go through this all over again. That would be a shame on me, for being dumb enough to put myself in the same situation all over again, without learning my lesson from the first time. Prior good service doesn't excuse bad service, not even one time. And since they take zero responsibility, lay it all on me and try to fool everyone into believing that this was solely all about me being upset because i couldn't sit where i wanted to, well, all i have to say to that is "THE WHOLE PLACE" (maybe, i dunno, people shouldn't turn a venue private on a day they advertised a free show to the public?,...might be a good idea?). And not having any viable place to watch the show, with no offer of accommodation, except for a spot where i don't fit, i'm still intruding on the private party and feel like an interloper. And, once again, i DO NOT FIT in their cubby hole on the side of the stage. What part of "do not fit" don't you understand?
I'm just one customer,..i'm not that important. i'm sure your business will survive & thrive without me. I went to see a band and have a...
Read moreThis place has potential, but has a long way to go. Why brew the same mediocre beer Fruita is known for. Why wouldn't you strive for exceptional beer? Like better than other breweries in the valley. The quality of Avery, Odell, Russian River, Melvin, etc. Also the service was really kind when you have their attention, but i waited for several minutes to return my my beer that was mis-poured. Meanwhile the staff gossiped about who was sitting at the bar and checked their text messages. The owner was behind us for a while, but never said hi or welcome in. Also the mustache guy at the front was far from welcoming. Walked in and he said rather curtly, "can i help you?" Not the greeting he used to give at the distillery. He was almost pleasant there. Seems like a lot of turnover already and confused staff. Maybe give them a few months to catch their stride.
Everyone except for the greeter seemed happy and was mostly nice.
Before i get a rude response from Russel. We met your parents at Trail life and they invited us to the roadhouse. You were very kind to us and very welcoming when we came to your spot in De Beque. Very different vibe. You were dating our realtor at the time. Maybe that is why you...
Read moreIf you want me to be honest, DO NOT GO HERE, I payed 65$ for 2 entrees and let me tell ya about the food, I ordered the brewhouse Mac and the Chicken named Alfredo, first of all the pork in my Mac tasted like it's been sitting in my mothers crock pot for the last 2 weeks, no flavor just tasted like cheap pork you could find at a 5$ and below, The noodles had no flavor and the cheese was basically water just making my noodles soggy, same goes for the chicken Alfredo I ordered, noodles were the exact same thing, the chicken in it was terrible. I thought my girlfriend was overreacting over it but once I tried it she clearly was not, The cheap chicken they put in this 22$+ meal (22$ by the way ) is the same chicken you could probably pull out of a frozen spam can. Undercooked, thin, tasted like a waste of money. Not impressed whatsoever, I definitely do not recommend this place, I've never left a review before but this place definitely deserves one. Dining here is the equivalent feeling of ordering something online just to find out your credit card info has been taken and hacked. Save...
