Big Slice Pizza

My kids and I made a visit here for the first time. It's a small place with maybe half a dozen tables and a couple of tables outside. We were the only customers inside and this was on a Saturday at 8 pm. We came in here because Angelo's and Vinci's which is directly across the street had a 30 minute wait. We were not greeted when we came in by any of the 3 young males who were working behind the counter. We sat ourselves at a table and after a couple of minutes I noticed that no one came by to serve us despite the workers just standing behind the counter. I looked at one of them and asked how was I supposed to order? He told me that I had to come to the counter to order. Really? You couldn't have told me that as I walked in and sat down? How about offering me a menu after I sat down? So right away I knew that the service was going to be horrible. If I didn't have the kids I would have just left but the kids were hungry and I went ahead and ordered an XL meat pizza. The menu price was more than I expected. My pizza came out to $28 with tax and tip. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The meats on the pizza were not over cooked but the chicken was a bit dry. It could use just a little more pizza sauce. The crust was the best part of the pizza for me because it was chewy. Overall, the pizza is good and I would probably eat here again but for take out and only with a coupon or discount. Otherwise I would rather get it from Angelo's and Vinci's which has a better and larger pizza for the same price.
