Cafe Patio is a beautiful hidden gem. Honestly, it doesn’t even look like it belongs in the area. It’s like a spaceship ripped this restaurant off of some beachfront and relocated it next to downtown Fullerton.

The food is delicious. My friends and I are crazy about the jjajangmyeon. It’s the best jjajangmyeon I’ve ever had. Most other things are good too. The chewiness of the noodles are perfect and addicting. Tangsuyuk is good too. I also liked the honey walnut shrimp and the omurice.

The drinks are pretty good and very affordable considering prices for alcohol nowadays. You can get an individual soju cocktail for less than $10. I do have one thing to complain about. I came here once close to midnight on a Saturday on a bar crawl to enjoy some soju cocktails. When we tried to order soju cocktails, the staff told us that “we can’t make them because the lady who makes the soju cocktail went home.” …Isn’t that insane? You’re telling me in your entire restaurant only 1 lady knows how to make soju cocktails? Not “sorry, the kitchen is closed.” Not “sorry, we’re out of ingredients.” It was “sorry, the only person who knows how to make them went home.” That’s ludicrous! It’s not like I asked for a Beef Wellington. Even drunk college students can throw together a soju cocktail.

But that was a one time thing. Just really stuck with me because it was so ridiculous that I couldn’t forget and I needed to get it off my chest. There needs to be some kind of cross training between the staff. Other than that, service is usually friendly and attentive. Food is delicious. I just wouldn’t count on this place as a drinking spot...

TLDR: Fly found in soup! Restaurant didn’t comp the meal and tried to give 15% off.

We had gone out for a rare family dinner, so it was supposed to be a special evening and decided to try out this place. All was going really well until we packed the leftovers (which we purposely tried to save some) and noticed a fly in the soup!!! We politely told the server and didn’t want to make a scene only to be told they would only take 15% off! The fact that they didn’t comp the meal and we had to ask for 50% off was ridiculous! We’re usually not ones to complain about things but it should be principle that if a customer finds a pest in their food, there should be no questions asked about waiving the bill. The servers were really nice and had great customer service, it’s just a shame that the owners felt they needed to still make money (off of a soup with spam!) even when a customer tells them they found something like that in their food. Go at your own discretion. We will not be...

I’ve been wanting to go to this place for a long time now and I was finally able to last night. Food was amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. Wait wasn’t bad for a Friday night. It’s always expected and it’s also a good sign for any good place. Everybody was very helpful starting from the host, food runners and servers. They recommended a few things and it did not disappoint. I would’ve given this place a 5 stars but they forgot to bring a few things we ordered and they also forgot about our food Togo we had to ask 3 times and it took a long time for that and to pay our bill. My only recommendation is to the staff to make sure customers are happy and pay attention to little things like that. We were not in a rush but we also didn’t want to spend over 2 hours having dinner. Water refills also took a long time but that’s the only thing. I’m still going to come back and give it...

I wanted to try this place as one of my friends hyped it up. We ordered the spicy seafood soup , bulgogi fries and a pitcher of Sapporo. The soup was spicy but had very little seafood in it. It was predominantly onions and other veggies. The seafood that was found in the soup was small and the shrimp was overcooked. Bulgogi fries were extremely good but the amount of beef on the fries was bare minimum. The beef was minced and was scarce . The sauce that was at the bottom of the fries was extremely good but for $15 I’d go else where or do it at home. The pitcher was ok but it was also 11.99 during happy hour, happy hour. Overall, probably won’t come back. Food was ok but portions ( protein ) were on the smaller side. Waiters only came around when you arrived and when new customers came into the restaurant. Asking for anything : refills , water , napkins, etc. Is going to take a while.

After visiting the wine bar, we ventured to this restaurant for the first time. Nestled in downtown Fullerton, it's just a short walk from Twisted Vine, where we initially gathered with old friends from Southern California. Eager to continue our conversation in a Korean-style setting, we opted for beer and Korean appetizers. A pitcher of Asahi beer accompanied by Salt & Pepper deep-fried pork (돼지 탕수육) and Wontons with Chili Sauce hit the spot, all recommended by our friendly waiter. Despite the slight chill on the outside patio, they promptly turned on the heater for us, ensuring our comfort as we savored the atmosphere, cuisine, and service during our 40 years of friendship celebration.
