If you’re on the hunt for the ultimate Saturday playoff experience, let me introduce you to the hidden gem that is Roscoe’s in Fullerton. Their outdoor patio isn’t just a seating area—it’s an event. Spacious, breezy, and downright charming, it’s the kind of place that makes you wonder why you ever watched football indoors. Add in a dozen (or more) HD screens strategically placed so you can catch the game from literally anywhere, and you’ve got yourself the perfect setting for an unforgettable day date.
My honey and I decided to level up our playoff tradition, and Roscoe’s did not disappoint. Let’s talk food first, because this is where things get serious. We ordered the Harbor Sub Italian sandwich, and let me tell you, it’s not just a sandwich—it’s art. Layers of perfectly seasoned meats, crisp veggies, and just the right amount of melty cheese come together on bread that’s toasted to golden perfection. It’s like biting into pure happiness, but better, because you’re eating it while the Chargers are crushing it on the big screen. Pro tip: don’t try to share this sandwich. Order one for yourself and save your relationship.
And what’s the perfect pairing for this culinary masterpiece? A schooner of Salty Crew beer, of course. This isn’t just a beer; it’s an experience. Served ice-cold in a goblet big enough to make you feel both fancy and mildly rebellious, it’s the kind of drink that keeps your spirits high whether the Chargers are winning or… regrouping. (But they’re winning, obviously. We believe.)
The vibe at Roscoe’s is a flawless mix of classy and casual. You’ve got your die-hard football fans screaming at the refs, your foodies Instagramming their sandwiches, and your couples (like us) who are there for the perfect blend of sunshine, sports, and quality time. The staff keeps the energy upbeat, the drinks flowing, and the atmosphere buzzing. It’s the kind of place where you feel like part of the family, even if it’s your first time.
By the end of the game, we were full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Between the next-level food, killer drink selection, and the electric game-day atmosphere, Roscoe’s has officially earned a spot as our go-to for playoff Saturdays. Chargers gear? Check. Schooners? Check. The perfect day date? Absolutely. Trust me, Roscoe’s isn’t just a place—it’s a tradition...
Read moreI have been going to Roscoe's for over 10 years now. In my youth we used to go with a group of friends on a weekend night and eat and drink and have a blast. The sandwiches have always been delectable. I have ordered the same thing every single time. The SoCo. The corn beef is super tender, the pastrami seasoned perfectly, and the Russian dressing completes the balance of taste. You must order more on the side to dip of course. Every bite is perfection. The potato salad has changed but is still good. It used to be a sliced potato salad but this last time it was a cold mashed potato salad. Still delicious but I'm not as big of a fan of the texture. There is no crunch or bite, it's all soft. So overall not as good as the old recipe. The Mac Salad is still delightful. The Big Stick is nothing short of a dream. Worth every penny. The price might scare you off but I'm telling you, don't run away from it. The drink is smooth and not too sweet, and the actual big stick in it takes me right back to being nine years old chasing down the ice cream truck to buy one because they only cost a quarter. After you finish the drink you're left with a booze infused popsicle to eat. 👌 After the first one, you won't be able to stop from ordering another. Before you know it, you have forgotten about the price tag all together. Love you Roscoe's! Bring back the sliced potato salad but other than that, don't...
Read moreUpdate 7/21 After several visits, i can say that roscoes deli still holds true to the fact of being a great place to visit for lunch dinner and supper. Great food, great people, great ambiance, indoor and patio. Just a delight Beyond dealing with a challenging parking routine, get there early and order early. The place scores a high 4.5 to 4.75 rating 👏
It's just fantastic! I've never been to a deli like roscoes deli... the experience opened my world to a fabulous sandwich/diner/bar restaurant location. And I say this because roscoes does embody all those attributes so well. As sandwich shop, located to the left of the entrance, it's separated from the main hal l- creating a great ambiance of privacy. As you cross over, the bar is up and running..and then the main room is large and ample and inviting. The food was to die for... the sandwiches, the soups all were just refreshing. The drinks ate large and well mixed, the beer cold and frosty, the wall lined with great sports memorabilia and the overall look was a modern western outback and a splash of Mardi gras.... It was definitely an enjoyable experience . My friends and I came to just watch the game, and we left so happy, even though our...
