I would definitely not recommend this pizzeria restaurant to anybody as a customer. I would say this service is fairly poor in regards one of the female waitresses who has not done her job consistently as a server. Yesterday, I was going in there around 5:19pm to get me something to eat after I was given water with lemon to drink like I ordered as a beverage. On top of that, the young lady with the glasses on and a copper-blond hair updo took too long to get back with me when I was ready to decide what I wanted to order. It was after she asked me if I needed a couple of more minutes to look over the menu before I decided what I wanted, which was the Honey Mustard Wrap. I also tried getting the red-haired female employee's attention about this incident, but she ignored me. It was around 5:43pm and she never came back to take my order. That gave me the right-away to sneak out of there quick enough before the my so-called server tried to come back to take my order.
To Fuquay Anna's Pizzeria employees, Just because you are the waitress and you have customers like me dining in your restaurant needing a few minutes to decide what they are going order, that doesn't mean for you to take 24 minutes to come back for them. The truth of the matter is that you will lose you customers easily if you take too long to come back to get their food orders. You can cook their food during that 24-minute time frame after taking up orders. I know that yesterday is gone, but so am I as one of your customers. You have lost me as one of your customers, and I will never come back to your restaurant if you don't know how to handle your them right. I do not appreciate you treating me as an outcast at all. If you want to try to play your victim game with me, it's not going to happen. You might as well miss me on playing dumb, being rude, cantankerous, and/or condescending just because I wear a green lucky shirt and black Russell's yoga pants. At least I had other things to do, like go visiting my friends' church on 1000 Wagstaff Rd for Bible study. Other than that, what I do is really none of your business based on the way you treated me. Thank you and have a...
Read moreThis place is an embarrassment of a restaurant. Walk in and most tables are empty so we were sat quickly. Service started okay, got drinks ordered appetizers and food.
Garlic knots are nice texture inside but lack any garlic or oil unfortunately, so they are pretty flavorless. Cheese bread was fine, but it was really just cheese on bread. Waters were empty at this point.
Then comes the long wait for food. Finally 30+ minutes later food comes out, the Stromboli is incorrect so it has to be remade, they added ricotta to a Stromboli some reason. The pizza slices were lukewarm and clearly were sitting under heat lamps instead of being put in an oven to reheat. It was a lukewarm soggy mess of pizza. Some of the worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life. I would have asked for it to be reheated but we couldn't get anyone over to check on our table. For $4 a slice I'd expect a lot better of pizza.
Still no water refills at this point. 30 minutes later the waitress finally comes over to tell us the Stromboli is in the oven, but leaves before we can ask for water.
Finally 15 minutes later she comes back and we just say we want the Stromboli to go. Finally comes back with the check and asks if we want waters to go. First refill offer at the end of a meal.
Took a while longer for the Stromboli and then we see the bill is incorrect. The waitress tries claiming that they don't have Stromboli on the menu, so she grabs a menu and we show her the section named Stromboli Rolls and what the price should have been. She claimed it's wrong and they don't serve Stromboli, they only have calzones. They offered to take 50 cents off which wasn't even the amount overcharged. I didn't want to wait 15 minutes for that so I paid and left.
This was likely the worst service and food I've had at a restaurant and it's really disappointing because the last time I went to the Apex location it...
Read moreThe first time I ever had Anna's was 4 days ago. I ordered a gluten free pizza on cauliflower crust for takeaway and absolutely enjoyed it when I got home! 5 Stars.
My flight to India this evening was canceled due to weather and since I'm now here for one more night, I ordered the same gluten free pizza on cauliflower crust, this time, for delivery.
Between the two pizzas, disappointingly, the experiences were a difference of night and day. I'm not sure if it was even the same GF crust.
The takeout order came in a thick, standard cardboard pizza box with a tinfoil tray under the pizza. It took 20 mins with traffic to get home with it and it was still quite warm and the GF crust felt like it should. Thick enough to fold the crust and eat one handed.
Tonight's delivery came in a cheap thin pizza box without the tinfoil tray. The whole box and pizza was cold and soggy. Folding the crust to eat it was pointless, it continually folded where it shouldn't and I spent half the time picking up to eat what fell off onto the plate.
Noting that the delivery time of 45 mins was reasonable and accurate.
If I was leaving a review for the other evening, I would have given it 5 stars. With one suggestion to make sure they cut the slices thoroughly. The 4 slice serving wasn't cut in the middle and didn't even come close to the crust. I had to recut the pizza when I got home. The sauce, crust, and toppings still would have earned 5 stars.
If tonight was my first experience, I'd be leaving a 3 star review at best and not order from there again.
If I had more time in town, I'd try one more time and decide if I really like Anna's. Jury is out till I return in a few...
