Went for breakfast with what I thought was a simple order. They were busy with the parking lot being around a 3rd full and when I got into the drive thru I was next in the 1st lane and the was only 1 car placing an order in the 2nd but there were like 5 cars ahead. To start off the one taking orders said welcome to McDonald's and I said hello and was immediately interrupted and told "can you hold" and then I heard her on the 2nd lane taking the order. When she gets back to me I had an order for 2 others and myself and started and she just kept cutting us off and when she repeated it was missing the 1st of the order so we finally got it right on the screen and repeated, it was a gravy biscuit, sausage biscuit, 2 butter biscuits, a small coffee and 2 large dr peppers. At the 1st window it's was the order taker who repeated wrong missing the 2 biscuits so we corrected her she was just not a happy camped that morn I guess but sent us to window 2 after payment. Window 2 another girl repeated our order correct we ask for 3 creamer 5 sugars and 4 grape jellies after she confirmed what we ordered we get the bag and no plastic ware no sugar no jelly, we politely asked her for some jelly she insisted was in the bag so we just asked if we could have 4 more then and started pulling away only to notice as soon as we were past the window the 2 plain biscuits weren't there. So we pulled around went inside and let the front cashier know and she promptly got us our biscuits...the crew they had at the windows should maybe have worked the back or...
Read moreI don't know what the problem is with these new MacCoins, but I tried to use one today and was still charged for the Big Mac. From what I understand, the coin is supposed to be redeemable for a free Big Mac, or at least that's what the instructions said and the lady at the window who gave it to me said. I told the girl in the drive thru that I had one of these coins and wished to use it for the free Big Mac. She charged me for the Big Mac anyway and took the coin from me at the pay window. So, now I not only had to pay for the Big Mac that was supposed to be free, but I also don't have the coin to try to use again. It's really not about the burger as it is the fact that I had to pay for something that I wasn't supposed to have had to pay for. Everyone beware of the MacCoins, or at least this particular McDonald's location. They don't seem to be honoring them. Either that, or the drive thru worker was just incompetent. Regardless, I am very...
Read moreWhenever I have my 9 year old granddaughter and her 8 year old cousin with me, I know we will be eating lunch at McDonald's. I always let them choose. They got the 6 piece chicken nugget kids meal. They were happy with the meal but not the toy. I got a regular hamburger (no vegetables except freeze dried onions and pickles). It's unbelievable that a thin piece of meat, a small bun, two small pickles and a few onions cost $1.99! I remember when they were only 89 cents! But everything has skyrocketed! I also used the daily deal on my app and got a large fry for one dollar. That's one thing I love about McDonalds! Their loyalty program and app! With the points I had a cumulated, and I visit McDonald's only when I have my granddaughter, I was able to get her a free ice cream cone. So all in all, I recommend this McDonald's. The food was typical McDonald's food. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel valued...
