Sodium restricted & seafood allergy review!

Sat, served and tended to promptly. Grad day are UF so it was starting to get busy when we arrived. No issues with our tables needs or wants being met.

I have a seafood allergy, no problem at all. I never once felt iffy or nervous here. Hubby is sodium restricted. It worked out fine with a special request.

Very clean inside, outside and the well stocked restrooms. Server was very good. Food was great. Water is good. (That's important, some places the water sucks ya know)

Hubby had Flo's petite filet (no dry rub requested due to sodium) with baked potatoe. It came out as ordered, sizzling and very hot. Very tender and juicy on the first couple of bites. Only problem was- it continues cooking of course and became to well done, very quickly and a little dry. Still good tho. Maybe order one level rarer next time.

I ordered the parm crusted chicken, brussel sprouts and BP loaded. The parm chicken is amazingly fantastic! 3 large pieces of breast smothered in a wonderful cream sauce then topped with the parm crust. Next time I will ask for less sauce, it is Very Very salty, so beware of this if you are sodium restricted. The chicken was cooked perfectly, I may even get a plain ole chicken breast, naked, next time. It's that good, you don't need more! I'm not a beef eater so this was perfect for me.

The baked potatoes were undercooked a bit and heavily ladened with coarse salt..again, beware if this is an issue for you.

The bread...wonderful!

Now! The crispy honeyed brussel spouts. I could have been perfectly happy eating only these ...they are absolutely divine!!! Crispy, sweet with a good sear. Yum!!

All in all..a great meal we both thoroughly enjoyed.

Except the salt... Which by the way is why we chose Longhorn for our meal. Hubby is on a salt restricted diet and he was able to have a good steak coming in under his needed mg's for a serving. Flos petite 6 ounce with no rub will get you there and be able to enjoy the BP (not eating the skin due to the heavy salt).

A good Longhorn at this location.

2 people, no drinks, just under...

Management made super horrible business decision to send the servers home at 8pm to save on labor but there was a line out the door. I specifically went to longhorn because I wanted to sit with my wife at the high-tops in the bar and watch the game but nope, they was closed. With the restaurant booming. Check the sales.

Then they sat us with in a broken booth. Was kinda uncomfortable and interesting that they chose to seat me in the broken booth when clearly there were no problems with the seating at the high-tops. They know it’s broken, and it’s a choice of management not to fix it, I just they want to laugh all the way to the bank with those profits.

We really wanted the hot blonde waiter guy, but got a brunette instead. Both were equally handsome but the blonde guy with the chain and buzz cut super handsome. Wow.

The waiter took my drink order but forgot to take my wife’s. He didn’t even ask her. Just took mine and walked. But she’s the one that wanted liquor.

For our appetizer we ordered spicy tossed firecracker chicken but got a plate of what appeared to be 7-11 taquitos.

Then we noticed the almost twin dudes with the beards and the buns. We thought they were Australian. The one that wears his shirt open so much hotter.

So our food came out and I got a baked potato instead of the fries I wanted. Credit given for the correct food, just the wrong form. I then began to observe all the servers. None of the write down their orders. Not one.

The Brussels sprouts were the bomb diggity do and we were happy.

Then my wife found out the really hot dudes name was Aaron. So perfect. But he said he didn’t know us.

On Saturday aound 4pm April 26th 2025 Never got to eat here. Walked in w big smile only to be met by girl.w afro and young boy in front ; had to wait for them to stop chatting ; then no smile just how many in your party. Ok it w be around 5 minutes. Cushion on bench up front where you sit and was filthy!+ The boy goes slowly w no urgency to clean a table. Their were empty tables but I don't know why we weren't seated..another couple comes in same thing but they didn't write anyone's name down and the other couple pointed at us like hey they were here 1st (which was the nicest pleasantly we had here ; not employess). I look around at wait staff that left and were starting shift. All miserable and lethargic. I look over at bartender same thing. I wondered to myself that maybe if all in front of house were miserable that maybe cooks were and food w be a disappointment. Maybe they don't pay peoole enough here I d k. No.one noticed we left or cared. The customers pay your salaries your water lights food etc guess you don't need people bc that's how staff acted. Btw we went to our regular place Texas Roadhouse where food , smiles, and great service are consistent. I even spoke w of couple of girls that work there and ask if part of their training is to smile and they said yes . That's why we go there. There are too many other places to visit who are happy to serve you, and keep you as a...
