Always tastes great and most of the staff is friendly enough. However, wait times are WAY too long and out of the 10 or so times I've ordered ahead online, my order has been ready at the promised time ONCE. I usually even allow a few extra minutes before arriving for pickup. A few times I've even arrived to find the staff hanging out in the back and my order hadn't even been started.
Today I ordered ahead and allowed about 6 or 7 extra minutes before arriving for pickup. When I arrived, I discovered that the store was closed to the public again due to Covid (no big deal, I understand) but, of course, my order was not ready. I asked how long it would be since it had already been over 15 minutes and was told "I'm not sure, we'll bring it out when it's ready." So I gave the girl my name and car description. For the next 10 minutes I watched this poor girl go to every car in the parking lot auctioning off smoothies and trying to figure out where they went. I finally called to her that I had to leave to go to work and to just cancel my order. She said "okay" and went back inside. No apologies, no offer for a refund. I called the customer support number and was told they would reach out to them about a refund.
I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt because of Covid but I've had these issues at this location for much longer than that. This is the most convenient location for me but I will not be back for a while. I really hope upper management steps in soon and develops a system not only for Covid service but for when you reopen as well. Your staff needs much...
Read moreMy friend and I drove 30 minutes last night after she got off work to try to make it in time before closing. We called twice on the way there to try to place an order before hand so we wouldn’t be ordering 10 minutes before close. We have both worked in the food service industry and know that it can be annoying to have to serve customers right before closing. However, neither of our calls were answered so we felt we had no other choice. We got there as a customer ahead of us was receiving their order and my friend and I saw two female workers whispering to each other and it appeared to be about us. We went to order a smoothie bowl and they refused us service. Once again I understand it can be annoying to serve customers right before close but the place was still open and with working in food service myself I know better than to whisper about customers in front of them or to refuse service. Read moreI came in about 15 minutes before closing, not realizing the location closed at 9 PM instead of 10 PM. As someone who understands how challenging fast food and customer service jobs can be, I completely get how frustrating it is when customers show up close to closing time.
However, my friends and I were met with an unnecessarily rude response from the staff. One employee sighed loudly and rolled his eyes as we entered. After noticing the closing time ourselves, we were about to leave when another staff member walked up and also rolled his eyes at us. As we exited, someone sarcastically shouted, “Have a great night,” in a condescending tone.
