Edit: It turns out that there's price change sort of, so I bumped my rating up a little. However, the rating will remain low because nothing was said to me. It's not hard at all to tell a customer that there's been a price change, especially when the price change was not marked on the menus available at the time :/ BE CAREFUL!!!!! I highly recommend getting a receipt for your purchases, even if there is a long line. INSIST on it. I went in to buy three cookies tonight because I had a craving. I gave the cashier my card, and she charged me $1.91 instead of $1.59 for three cookies. I guess she thought I wouldn't notice, but I am always careful to check the screen to see the amount I paid. Usually, the total is correct, so I got used to just only glancing afterwards and going away. I was really surprised and upset to see that upon a second glance, I was overcharged. At first, I was like, okay, I guess it's just a wee little error. However, the employees were not caring at all. They said it was impossible to prove that I was overcharged and that there was no way to go back into the system to check. That's just BS. I worked in a sub shop before, and it is totally possible to see what was previously rung up, especially if it's a situation like mine where the order was *JUST rung up and nobody else made a payment yet. Yes, it is a 32 cents difference, BUT if I only gave them $1.27 for the cookies, would they have let me walk out with with the cookies? NOPE. Luckily for them, I didn't feel like putting up a fuss tonight, but if this ever happens again, I will firmly stay there until I am properly compensated. I wonder how many other poor, indebted college students they've been screwing over..... *Also, just in case you think I might've just read the screen wrong, I actually went home and checked my banking account, and sure enough, I was...
Read moreTERRIBLE service. This location is mostly run by student employees, and a few of the ones that work here simply lack motivation. This Subway is located in a super convienient spot, but sometimes it's worth it to go elsewhere. On one occasion, there was a line of about 6 people and it took about 30-40 minutes to get to the front of the line to order. On another occasion, I had placed my order through Tapingo to avoid the line. Upon entering the Subway and waiting for my sandwhich, an employee rudely told us to get in line and wait with everyone else because they were "too busy" to make our Tapingo orders. Therefore, I had to wait in the long line although I had paid the extra fee for placing a Tapingo order without an apology or any demonstration of good customer service from any of the employees. On a third occasion, I had ordered a foot long sub. Upon opening the sandwich, I noticed that it wasn’t cut. Thus, I had to attempt to rip my sandwich in half so I could save the other half for the next day’s lunch after I had paid almost...
Read moreIt makes no sense to have 3 workers there just chatting while they could be helping who’s in the line. Yes one employee was helping someone already but was going so very slow and the others just stood around doing nothing. It’s enough counter space for 2 people to be working on subs not just one person. And yes this is the subway on campus but last time I checked it’s not as busy as it was before COVID so therefore those that are there working should be doing just that not sitting around talking when customers...
