I have a gluten allergy. Most restaurants provide lists of ingredients that allow customers the ability to check for allergy concerns. And if it’s not in store, you can usually find it online. Well, I checked online for WnB Factory and there were no ingredients lists or allergen warnings on their website. Then, I asked the cashier if they could tell me what seasonings were used for their fries and burgers. She said she had no idea because they were shipped already seasoned. I said, “What seasonings are used, though? Do you know if there is anything with wheat or gluten that could cause a reaction?” She refused to go check for any list of ingredients for the burgers or fries. Instead, she said their shipments come in on Tuesdays and I could return then to find out about ingredients. I asked her, “so, there’s nothing you can provide right now for me to know what I’m about to eat?” She said no. I asked, “is there a manager here that I could talk to that may know more?” Again, no. It was extremely annoying and disconcerting that the employees were unwilling and unconcerned about a customer’s allergy concerns. The cashier didn’t even try to help me find answers. So, I went next door to Uncle Maddio’s and brought a gluten free pizza back to WnB to eat with my family. Very disappointed in WnB and their...
Read moreI called this place at 9:20 p.m. to place an order. A young guy answered, told me to hold on, and then left me on hold for about five minutes before never coming back to the phone. When I called back around 9:25, he said they were closed even though the posted hours showed they should still be open for another 30 minutes.
He said they closed early to “clean up,” but when I drove there in person, there were still a few people inside eating. I also saw his friends hanging out at the counter, giving him handshakes, and clearly just socializing. When I asked why the door was open if they were closed, he repeated that they shut down early to clean and said the grill was already off.
Businesses really need to stop letting young, unsupervised employees close early just to hang out with their friends. Turning away paying customers so someone can chill with their homeboys is completely unprofessional. If you’re going to close early, at least update your hours or put up a sign. I’ll be speaking with management about...
Read moreQuick take: Recommend. 4 Star burger at a 2 star price.
Price: Reasonable
Order time: 6:37pm, on a light traffic Saturday Ready: 6:48pm Total: 11 minutes, speedy
Pic includes my added seasoned salt on the fries.
Hawaiian burger is juicy and delicious, with a perfect hint of teriyaki. The pineapple adds a delicious sweetness without overpowering the beef. Tomatoes and lettuce work well in a supporting role. DELICIOUS!
Fries are unremarkable, lifeless, and lack crunch, but they do nothing to diminish that wonderful burger.
Conclusions: The Burger punches above its reasonable price here. If you like a good, self-respecting burger, you can't go wrong with this delicious Hawaiian styled goodness. I look forward to a return trip.
Don't bother with the fries. They're a disappointment not even a mother could love.
As far as atmosphere, the interior is bright and airy, and of a comfortable...
