McDonald's — Restaurant in Gaithersburg

I was picking up food last night at 3am and this lady with glitter and pounds of makeup all over her face was all aggressive and confrontational for no reason not even trying to give me my food just because I wasn’t at the speaker and I went to the window but when I was at the speakers I waited 5+ minutes for nobody to answer, And I’m a patient person so it’s whatever to me. But I went to the window and she saw me and started arguing with me saying she’s going to block me from picking up orders and had such a rude aggressive horrible disgusting tone trying to lecture me about being at the speaker, that nobody answers for😐. I don’t understand how people can act so disgusting towards people especially when nobody provoked her to act that way, She was just rude and aggressive from the start and was even laughing in my face. Also she had my food in her hand our whole interaction and it was getting cold so I asked will you warm it up since its getting cold? She said “no” but then after the back and fourth she said “ Someone else will serve you” and was trying to take my food away and I said “Can I have my food please? I shouldn’t have to beg for it” Especially when it’s right there in her hand and she’s just having an attitude with me for no apparent reason. I was even trying to still be nice to her after all her rudeness towards me and I was trying to let her know “I’m not trying to argue with you Miss, I understand what you’re saying and next time I’ll wait at the speaker” It’s very disappointing and disgusting and saddening how people like this work at a fast food restaurant, Fast food is supposed to be fast and maybe friendly but I don’t care too much about the last part, I just wanted my food with no problems or much talking and this lady ruined my whole experience. I will never come back to this McDonalds. She needs to be fired! Today July 4th I wanted to order food and wanted to pick it up. So, I ordered me and my girls some breakfast I probably live like 7 mins away from this place. When I get there at 10.29 am and had to wait for 2 cars in front of me to go so when I came to the speaker it was 10:31 the lady on the speaker said that my mobile order had been cancelled because I had to pick it up before 10:30am. I checked my bank and they had already taken the money outta my account. They told me to speak to the manager named “JANAI floor manager” which she got offended when I miss pronounced her name 😒 “JANAI floor manager”proceeded to tell me the same thing I had been told, I explained that the money had been taken outta my account and wanted something that said it will be refunded that’s all, I was not rude or yelling at her. She said there was nothing they could give me and the money was gonna be refunded to my account in a very dismissing tone. I know McDonald’s serves breakfast a couple of minutes past the cut off time even at this place and this was the first time I’ve heard this. Dear McDonald’s you make tons of money, please invest in your employees and their customer service because the way they talk to the customers is disgusting and unacceptable, we’re not animals.

Janai if I could get a dollar for every and each time people mispronounced my name I would be rich by now and prob not going to your McDonalds to get food to be treated like you did today. Out of the many McDonald's restaurants I have visited, this one I visit the most.

I partially visit because it is very close to me, and they also seem to get my order right more often than the others. I actually have an allergy to mustard seed so I usually order my burgers without mustard. Getting a burger with mustard on it or with only mustard and no other condiments happens from time to time but this restaurant gets my order correct way more often than others.

The employees are usually very friendly although you can tell how hard they are working. Since the remodel service seems to have slowed down quite a bit especially from the drive-thru. I don't know if that's because of different employees or there was a structural change inside the building.
