R.J.'s Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Galax

Went with a friend that had been before. I'm glad we did, the family loved it. We all got something different and there was absolutely no complaints. The pizza I had was really great. Everyone loved there food. It's a real nice dining room. Even though they were packed the food came out really quick. If you like a place where they use real ingredients like the cheese then you will love this place. The staff was amazing and out of the way nice and very friendly. In fact our waitress went out of the norm in my opinion to make sure we had a good experience. I don't remember her name, but she was exceptionally wonder. I believe she said she had been there 17yrs. No wonder with the personality she has. If they loose any of the employees that served us from start to finish, they my close up !!! We've lived in Ennice NC for 2 years now, which, if you don't know, is right on the border of Galax VA. We pass by RJ's at least once a week and the parking lot is always packed. We've commented many times that it must be good if there's rarely open parking every time we go by and that we wanted to try it. We're from Massachusetts originally and we've tried pizza in several different places and nothing compares, so finally, after 2 years, we stopped in for lunch. When we first saw the pizza, we were looking at it like "what is this flat crust all about? Please, not another failed pizza..." Much to our enjoyment and excitement, it was delicious!!! The best pizza we've had here and absolutely comparable to places we frequented up North!! I will never eat pizza anywhere else!! RJ's... you've got a new life...

My family has been getting take out pizza from here every Friday for a very long time. Today we order pizzas and when my wife got them home she realized instead of a meat lovers with onion and green pepper we got a onion and green pepper pizza even though that was not what we paid for. No big deal, mistakes happen and I was in town anyways. When we called the manager she would not make us the right pizza unless I drove 15 miles out of town pick up the pizza and drive all the way back and said kitchen staff would never remember making an onion and half green pepper pizza, so she wouldn't ask, I find that really hard to believe like many customer service means a lot so they have lost a loyal customer for life, pizza is not the...
