Hardee’s — Restaurant in Galesburg

For fast food, their burgers are pretty top notch. The Monster Burger is essentially the same setup as the Baconator from Wendy's, but has more beef, bacon, and cheese, is all around better, and the combo is about the same price.

The rest of their food is great too. 2 types of fries, grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches, great chicken strips, wraps, roast beef, etc. All pretty good. A lot of their regular items can be a bit expemsive.... But:

For the thrifty, they have some 5 and 6 dollar combos. I often get the #15. Chicken sandwich, double cheeseburger, fries, drink, and cookie. All for 6 bucks. Can't beat it. Not to mention they often have good breakfast specials. And their breakfast is pretty killer too.

It's basically high quality diner food disguised as a fast food joint. Definitely a place for regulars.

Cons: I mean, nothing really. The buildimg shows it age, but the staff do their nest to keep it up. The wait times are rarely a problem, but they make it up to you if they are. The people are decent and courteous. There are TVs, but it would be nice to hear the news and not just see it. Turn the Muzak down and the TV up, lol.

My experiences was they ran my card said it was declined.he did it twice.when i check my card they had taken all my money off but told me it decline so i uze another card and didn't tbink about calling my card until after we left so we went back and told them that our card did go thur and they had taken our money Off the card.the young lady tgat works there said the same tbing had happen to her there and that they had gotten lots of complaints so she told us to call back the next day to talk with the morning g supervisor.we did but the phone was not working so i called the corporate office stayed on the line for an hour no one answer.my next step will be the bbb after tomorrow if they dont give me...

The rudest people I have ever encountered. Waiting for my order, I went up to the counter and some worker (will not call her a lady) grabbed my sandwiches out if window and put the fries on the wrong one, walked right past me and put them on the table. Maybe they HAVE to serve them and not hand them to me standing right there and proceeded to tell me how long chicken has to cook and she can't give them to me, etc. etc. Goes back behind the counter sti talking to me and waving her finger at me, because the chicken has to cook....not usually going to a Hardee's, this WILL however be my LAST visit.
