UPDATE 2 MONTHS AFTER THIS INCIDENT We thought we would go back, given it had been 2 months. So we get there, have a seat at the bar, get our chips & salsa. We saw the same server & he saw us & then it started.. He went to the manager, bartender & other servers, started whispering & pointing like a little school boy. He is a grown man & I felt like I was in high-school again. Eventually, the manager came over & said, "SORRY WE CAN'T SERVE YOU!", I said "WHY?" manager said "BECAUSE OF YOUR REVIEW!" I was like "WOW, I GUESS I WILL PUT A REVIEW ON THE REVIEW THEN." So, I was told to leave. The server did something wrong & I can't eat there because of him. He needs to grow up & act like an adult, put his big boy pants on, move on, instead of acting like a grade school child. It's a shame that his manager couldn't just tell him not to bother me, nor me him & mosey on & I would have got to eat & they would have made some moola.. BTW, THIS IS MY 1ST BAD REVIEW MOSTLY JUST STARS THIS IS 1ST POST So, I went to Garcia's, and felt something wet drop on my chest, I looked up thinking it was condensation from the vents. Didn't see anything, so looked at my chest and it was something white and wet, took it off and it was part of the straw paper, I looked at the end of the bar and one of the servers was over where they pick up drinks orders was having a laugh and a smirk on his face and holding a straw. Then I realized what was going on. He had spit a spitball on me thru the straw. I have no clue if was aiming at my food my friend next to me or my face or chest. But I thought it was very gross, unprofessional, and downright disgusting. I love to eat there because it's my favorite Mexican food place for our area and close to home but now I have to ask myself what are they/him doing to my food. My husband asked about it the next day. Of course, he denied it and then continued to say maybe I had too many drinks.. lmao. I wasn't drinking. I got a club soda and a birria taco, totaling $7 and some odd cents. Anyways, this is a picture of the guy..

Garcia's Taqueria Sports Grill is a hidden gem that perfectly combines great food, a lively atmosphere, and top-notch sports entertainment. During my recent visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Mexican dining experience. First and foremost, let's talk about the food. The birria and Mexican street tacos were simply outstanding. The birria was rich in flavor, tender, and perfectly seasoned, making it an absolute delight to savor. The Mexican street tacos were equally impressive, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that showcased the chef's expertise and attention to detail. Each bite was a burst of authentic Mexican flavors that left me craving for more. The atmosphere at Garcia's Taqueria Sports Grill is vibrant and inviting. The decor is stylish yet cozy, creating a welcoming environment for diners to relax and enjoy their meal. The restaurant is also equipped with all the good sports channels, making it an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts who want to catch the latest games while enjoying delicious food and drinks. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by our server. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly friendly and attentive. Their warm demeanor added to the overall positive experience, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion, Garcia's Taqueria Sports Grill exceeded my expectations with its great food, inviting atmosphere, and excellent service. Whether you're a fan of Mexican cuisine, a sports enthusiast, or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience, Garcia's is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings.

I recently visited Garcia's Mexican Restaurant in Gallatin, TN, and had a delightful experience. Although we usually frequent a few other local Mexican spots, we decided to give Garcia's a try, and I'm glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, exceeding our expectations. We also enjoyed a few drinks, which were well-made and refreshing. The meal started with chips and salsa, which were fresh and flavorful. Our service was excellent; the staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Despite a decent crowd, our food came out quickly, showcasing their ability to handle a busy dining room seamlessly. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, Garcia's Mexican Restaurant provided a wonderful dining experience. The combination of delicious food, good drinks, prompt service, and a friendly staff makes it a standout choice. I will definitely be returning and recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

Terrible service, gaslighted guest by pretending they already brought missing food to the table, no apology.

This used to be my favorite place for tacos. I ordered my usual on my last visit. Tacos de birria and tacos autenticos with chicken. I modify by substituting shredded chicken instead of grilled and removing cilantro from everything. On the authentic tacos, that would leave onions and lime as the toppings.

I’m not sure where the server got confused because I point to the menu when I order. Regardless, the service problem came after the wrong tacos were served. Somehow I ended up with single layer corn tacos with shredded chicken and no toppings. (Tacos are supposed to come double layer, so I was also missing three corn tortillas)

The other meal at my table came out wrong as well, but I’m going to focus on the lack of service for this review. Instead of sending my tacos back to be made the right way, I simply asked for some onion and lime. The server brought a cup of onion and walked away. Finding any employee to get a lime became a waiting game. When I ordered my little pieces of pre-cut lime wedges for a third time, the server delivered it and said “here’s MORE lime”. Dude, you never brought it in the first place.

The table behind me was cussing loud. Servers didn’t have the opportunity to hear it because they scarcely made an appearance. Chips sat empty. Drinks sat empty. A table next to us with empty drinks gave up on waiting for refills. One of them either purchased bottles drinks at the register or went to his car and brought them inside.

I will not be back. There was a taco truck in the parking lot of a gas station in front of the restaurant. I bet the taco truck knows what authentic tacos include. I bet I wouldn’t have had to fight for the labeled toppings if I ate there instead.

I drove 30 minutes to dine at this location. It doesn’t take much effort to put what was ordered on a table. If a customer orders lime three times and limes were not provided in between, it means you are a terrible server. If you gaslight your guests who never received lime to begin with instead of owning your failure and apologizing for the lack of service, then you are a terrible person.

To the owner, I would rather you be short staffed than to fill every table if this is the kind of service provided at your restaurant. I would rather wait 25 minutes to eat what I ordered than to be gaslit for ordering my missing items over and over. This server needs corrective training or a job away from...

Went tonight to garcias by Lowe's. This is where our daughter chose to go for her birthday. Guess what...she regrets it. They served us raw hamburger meat in our chimichanga and it was a big chunk and cold. Then my child's taco had chunk of raw hamburger in it. The server we had came to our table and we told him and he made a comment as that's how it's supposed to be served. It was disgusting to see our food like that. The manager, I'm assuming that's what she was, also came and let us know it wasn't raw and she checked the meat herself but she never looked at the food we were served. So basically she said we were wrong and the food was fine. Then asked if we needed anything else and walked off. Also while we were there an elderly man fell as they put him on the part you had to step down. But after he fell or even while he was on the ground not once did any of the staff come check on him. Two customers came to help him and help him up while the staff just stood there and stared at them. Then while waiting for the Medics to get there after one of the men called not the staff. Never once did they offer ice or a drink while they wait for the emts. Instead they stood there just standing at the podium chatting amongst a bunch of the staff which was waiters/host lady and the lady at the register. Not sure if we can come back anytime soon. Now both of our daughters not feeling well after eating. We couldn't get our waiter to come to our table after we made the complaint. Stayed another 10-15 minutes waiting while he kept walking by to other tables and the hostess station. When we finally decided to leave the manager asked if we were ready to check out. I told her he never came back so I wasn't sure if we even had a bill. She had me pay and we had to get our own to go boxes for the food that was cooked we left the raw stuff. Worst experience we've ever had at this facility. Manager made excuses and blew off our concerns to the very end. For the elderly couple that the man hurt himself falling on the seat that you had to step down. Which I have no clue why you would put elderly couple up there but anyways my husband went and paid for their food so they didn’t have to worry about it when the man was being wheeled out on a stretcher and the wife was trying to make sure her...
