I went to Wendy's on West Main tonight and had a HORRIBLE experience! It was bad from start to finish. The manager on duty was downright Rude and provided the Worst customer service one can receive, especially from a leader in the store and a member of the management team. I've had a couple other bad visits with this manager before, but tonight was Ridiculous! I think the manager's name is Melissa, but I can't be certain as she wouldn't tell me her name and refused to come to the window at my request. To start, she sounded angry when taking my order. I then waited about 15 minutes in line after placing my order to get to the window and pay and get my food. I had requested my fries and nuggets be cooked fresh. I finally get to the window only to check my bag and see the fries are lukewarm and limp as were the nuggets. I immediately asked for a refund. She Never tried to make the situation or the order right or offered to remake the food. She slammed my money back in my hand and snatched the bag and the cup. She then slammed the window and stormed off. I waited for someone to come to the window to no avail. I blew my horn and nothing. Finally a gentleman comes to offer assistance. I asked if he could have the manager come to the window. She refuses to do so and even went so far as to ask, and I quote, "What does he want? I've already given him a refund." She then said to the employee and myself that I could sit there all night and she didn't give a damn because she was busy. When offered assistance from another employee in the store he wrong me incorrect information for the district manager and the manager then comes to the window and locks it as if I'm a threat and threatens to call the police after I told the employee that I wanted to speak to her to get information to contact another manager. Read moreThis Wendy's does not usually have a long line unless it's during peak hours. The food is more than offering correct. I have gotten a cheeseburger from there that was supposed to be playing and was regular with everything on it probably three or four times in the last 6 months. As well whenever I order doordash and they go to this Wendy's to pick up food is almost exclusively wrong every time. This could of course be the doordash person I guess not checking food but still the original problem is Wendy's fault. During non-peak hours they are never busy. the staff at the drive-through has always been kind and it never been rude to me. I live within a mile of this Wendy's and go there quite often and I've never been treated rudely even when having to return food that was prepared in correctly. Sometimes more important than if someone makes mistake is if they fix it in the right manner and with the right attitude. While this windy sometimes makes mistakes they always fix it and they always do so with a good attitude and do not make you feel like bad for complaining about your food by huffing and puffing when they're fixing it, or when you return the food, and tell them that it is incorrect, they do not roll their eyes or sigh annoyingly. Read moreWent to this Wendy's a couple of weeks ago and decided to use a digital coupon from the Wendy's app. I asked the lady behind the counter if she knew how to get the coupon to work? She said that she didn't know, plus she didn't even own a cellphone. I said that's okay I'll try to figure it out. I sat down at the nearest booth that has the glass around it. I'm guessing she thought I walked outside, because her and a coworker started making negative comments about me. She said, I ain't touching his nasty a** phone!! Rude comment after rude comment. Finally I had enough and stood up and let her and the manager know that I had been sitting there the whole time. The manager basically called me a liar to my face. I said, if you're going to make negative remarks about someone make sure they're not sitting inside to hear your trash talking. Long story short, I'll never spend a penny there again.
