Pizza Edge - Gallup — Restaurant in Gallup

Easily in the top 5 worst wings ever eaten. We’ve had wings from all over the country. It’s a favorite food and something we are picky about. Gallup seems to be lacking in decent wings. We got excited when we grabbed a menu for this new restaurant in town and saw jumbo wings on it.

Jumbo wings they were not.

They were puny, had hardly any meat on them and the meat that was there was over cooked. It was like nibbling tiny pieces of chicken jerky from tiny bones.

Now, the pizza may actually be good. We didn’t order pizza due to dietary issues. I am giving Pizza Edge three stars because I can only speak on behalf of the wings, no other food items. The place was also clean and the employees were great. We were pleasantly surprised with the service here.

However, for the quality of the wings vs the price, it seriously wasn’t worth it and left us wishing there was a Wingstop in Gallup.

Came in on a Thursday night. There's booths to sit and dine. The place smells good and fresh. The location is clean. The bathrooms are immaculately clean with changing tables (even in the men's room). The store room was open and everything in there is organized, stacked nicely, and clean.

House special pizza was perfectly balanced with toppings and the crust was just right - crispy and soft.

Wings (ordered plain with sauce on the side) were crispy. They're not seasoned, but they are meaty and crispy and the sauce is so good. I got mango habenero - perfect balance of sweet heat.

Cheese bread sticks were perfectly cheesy with a butter garlic taste. Nice and soft too. They twist the bread so you can eat it like bread bites.

Our 2 kids got ice cream for free with their on the door special. I snuck a taste of each. The ice cream is so good! Creamy, rich, flavorful.

We've been to the other popular pizza places in Gallup. This is by far the best...

So we ate here since we were craving pizza and wings, and this has the best reviews of gallup,nm. I was suprised how dead it was inside only 2 workers but they had lots of to go orders. The menu has lots of items to pick from, the food was done within 10 minutes roughly. The pizza came out first before the wings and it was really good, lots of good flavor, the combo was better than the meat lovers overall. The wings i got were mango hobanaro and they were not spicy, tasted like a sweet n sour sauce with a kick basically good flavor but not crazy spicy. The only complaint i have is the people hanging around the area outside, it doesnt seem like a good area to be in honestly, otherwise id recommend it to anyone wanting pizza on your rt.66 trip or if your in the area...
