Worst Starbucks I've ever seen. Repeatedly have problems here, but whatever, I wouldn't keep coming to this specific location if I cared about customer service. Idc about customer service as long as my stuff gets made, and it's on the way to work. We don't have to be friends, Rude Starbucks Barista. Neither of us want to be here.
But today the sour-faced barista gave me a flat white that was half coffee and half very oversteamed milk foam, and when I told her I was missing most of my coffee (that's the part that has the caffeine in it, you know) she said "it's a flat white, that's how it's supposed to be." I told her no, boo, it's not, I get one every day (flat whites use microfoam in the same ratio to coffee as a latte, but she seemed simple-minded so I didn't explain that in case it confused her further) and she raised her voice to an odd pitch and said "OKAY, WELL, I CAN FILL IT UP WITH MORE STEAMED MILK IF YOU WANT." Which is a pretty insane response. I got a refund through the app since she refused to remake it and I didn't have time to convince her to let me teach her how to make a flat white, which could have been a beautiful journey for the both of us. I could learn the patience of teaching a difficult, stunted person a valuable skill, and she could learn how to interact with the public. Alas, this was a dream not meant to be.
Bizarre interaction. She was probably mad I interrupted the conversation she was having with two people hanging out by the pickup counter. My bad, Rude Starbucks Barista. Godspeed in your journey to find a job where you don't have to speak with anyone, for...
Read moreThis is probably the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The workers were incredibly slow. There would be a line of 8 to 10 people and no one was taking orders. The male employee was more concerned about getting the posters up than filling orders and making drinks. I went this morning and I stood there for ten minutes and ended up leaving, even though I was at the front of the line, because the employee was ignoring the line of more than 8 people. I'm not sure what the problem is, if it's staffing or training, but customer service needs to be worked on, training in how to be more efficient and plan and prep for the day needs to be vastly improved. My son works at a Starbucks in Killeen. I hear about how things should go and how hard he works. The Starbucks I went to about two blocks away had people moving in it. Being efficient. On top of the orders. We were visiting Galveston but I will never go back to that...
Read moreI'm usually skeptical of Starbucks inside stores but this place was awesome! The guy, I think Trip was his name, made a fantastic latte and even hooked me up with the latest deal going on, usually you have to ask for stuff like that! I was so stoked, I don't even care if I have to drive out of my way or a little further to get there (there is one closer to my house) but seriously you'd be hard pressed to find a good coffee place in general and I'm glad I finally did because I've been searching. Puns always intended ;) thanks Trip, you don't even know how much I appreciated it! I didn't see a tip jar and it didnt ask when I ran my card or else I definitely would have... Thanks again though, hopefully this review will suffice! Always nice to treat yourself with a good coffee once in a while, always sucks when you pay the extra buck and it isn't even that good but this time it was...
