Taco John's — Restaurant in Garden City

Food is great of course. If you like texmex such as potatoes and stuff you'll love it. Protip: if going drive through make sure you ask from sauce off the bar. The hot sauce offered at the bar inside the eating area is a million times better than the packet sauce.

I love love love the food but this particular location is getting 1 star because it is insanely slow. I've been 10+ times and the fastest I got my food was about 12-15 minutes. I've had times it took over 30 minutes waiting in the drive thru to receive my food. I've had times where it took 20 minutes to receive my food at 2 pm in the afternoon with noone in drive thru and 1 customer ordering a few tacos in front of me.

Its really frustrating not knowing how long it will take to get your food when you're in a hurry or can't dedicate 25+ minutes to order and get food.

Manager was rude when, previous days they messed up my order, they guys told me that he was going to write my name. When I requested my order that was made wrong, the manager was just rude, the employee at the window was nice she apologized for how the manager was acting. The manager was a female, blonde hair she was just rude. Asked for me to pull forward very rudely. I am not sure what kind of manager she is, she should be ashamed because of us costumers she still gets...

Food has been so-so in the past but when you can’t even keep the place open when you say you will is unacceptable to me. Guess I’ll just wait in the line for Taco Bell and they’ll get my money again since they can keep to their posted hours. The only things keeping this from being a 1 star is I don’t know if this is on the gas station manager or the taco John’s manager and the fact that the food was pretty good for gas station fast food last time.
