I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share a serious safety concern regarding my recent visit to this restaurant. The outdoor seating area has tables with umbrellas for shade. During our meal, multiple umbrellas were blown over by the wind, and one of them struck my child—another child nearby was also hit. Thankfully, no one was severely hurt, but it was a frightening and completely avoidable incident which easily could've been much more serious.
When I brought this to the attention of the manager, I was extremely disappointed by the response. Instead of showing concern or taking accountability, he immediately deflected blame, stating, "Did you open the umbrella? I didn't open the umbrella, so it's not my fault." He also claimed there was a wind warning of 60 mph, which I later verified was not true—the wind speed was around 18 mph at the time, not enough to trigger an official warning like he claimed, although clearly enough to create a safety hazard if adequate precautions were not taken, which management obviously did not.
The manager’s reasoning was that because I had opened the umbrella (as at least 4 other customers had), I was responsible. But if high winds were a known concern to him, why were the umbrellas left out or why weren't there any warning signs/instructions posted to keep umbrellas closed? This lack of foresight and basic safety protocol is alarming.
Above all, what raised the biggest red flag and truly earned this place 1 star was the manager's response. His complete lack of empathy, inability to apologize, or accept even the slightest shred of accountability was what was most alarming. All we wanted was to alert the management of what happened and suggest putting a sign up not to open umbrellas, but we were met with hostility.
This isn’t about shifting blame—it’s about accountability and ensuring that something like this doesn’t happen again. I hope management will take this feedback seriously, implement proper safety measures, and train staff to respond to concerns more professionally and empathetically.
Until then, I cannot recommend this place to families or anyone expecting a safe and, most importantly, respectful...

Our choice, the bacon cheeseburger with "the works," exceeded all expectations. Featuring grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and a generous helping of toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, this burger was a flavor-packed feast. What truly set it apart was its surprisingly light yet satisfying nature, a welcome departure from the heavy, greasy feeling often associated with burger joints.
The surprising star of our meal, however, was the fries. In a world where subpar fries are all too common, Burger Barn's offerings are a cut above the rest. These perfectly cooked, delectable fries provided the ideal accompaniment to our burger extravaganza.
Adding to the enjoyable experience, Burger Barn's drink customization options were truly impressive, boasting an extensive range of flavor combinations to suit any preference.

Read moreWe decided to come here when we saw the crowds across the street. They have a fantastic parking lot, lots of space and that was great. There is also have lots of seating, although it is all outside.
The ordering experience left a little to be desired, they only had 1 of the 2 windows open, which didn't make sense since the ordering line was about 40 people and 25+ mins to wait.
It also so low and small, its hard to communicate with the person taking orders. I was also quite bummed to find out that cups of water weren't free, nor were soft drinks refillable. I very much enjoy my drink refills so that was a bummer. Extra sauce is also charged which is another annoyance, I feel like I'm being nickel and dimed after spending 10 bucks on a burger.
Speaking of the burgers they were pretty good, similar style to 5 guys albeit maybe a little smaller. The fries are similar as well, even down to the sizing. The large fries could probably feed up to 4 adults depending how many you wanted.
The garlic cheese curds were really good, I would absolutely recommend trying them if you like...
