Abelitos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Garden Grove

We happened to be in the area (50 miles away from home) and stopped to have lunch. We payed with our debit card and the next day I get a notification on my phone that $100 were withdrawn from my bank account!! Mind you we’ve had the card in our possession the entire time. This withdrawal was made from one of our banks a mile away from the this restaurant. We called our bank immediately and they informed us that they tried to withdraw another $150 but the card had chip malfunction so they were not able to withdraw the cash. This restaurant counterfeited our card and we’re making withdrawals!!! We made a police report and I called the restaurant to speak to the owner and the person that answered would not give me the owners name (isn't that funny) I was calm and collective when I explained what happened and as soon as I finished the employee just hung up on me!! I’m sure he’s the one that did the fraud. This really upsets me because I wonder how many other victims they've done this too. Also the food wasn’t even good! Tacos were cold, how do you serve something cold straight off the grill?! Then steal their identity. I really hope law enforcement does their job! Because this place needs to...

Came here as we were excited to try Authentic TJ tacos. Saw online that they are $1 on Wed. Ordered 1 of each of the six that were $1. I ordered 2 Chorizo and 1 Carnitas and a side of taquitos. 75¢ more to use debit card. Order came out and tacos were very small. My hubby said he had to use lime on his tacos as they lacked flavor. My chicken taquitos were also bland. No seasoning in the chicken and they put beans on top of them which made them soft. Also, cashier didn't speak English very well and my hubby's tacos were missing onions even though I only wanted mine that way. Also, beans, lettuce, tomatoes on taquitos when I said none. No hand sanitizer offered and you can only sit outside. Tables are close together and DIRTY. I used a dry napkin to wipe it off and the napkin was BLACK. Not sure when they last cleaned them. During a pandemic, these steps are important. My hubby said if we are poor and desperate we will come back on a Wed since they are $1. Otherwise, probably won't...

At Dios Mio!

I was traversing the harsh lands of the OC, when a sudden craving overtook me... Yes friends, I was struck with an urge for beans and rice and steak.

As I was terrorizing the suburban neighborhoods on my electric scooter zipping through people's lawns and and forcing cars to divert away from me; the feeling hit me... My stomach growled and thoughts of red and green sauces showering a mound of fresh cooked tortilla swaddling thinly sliced steak, rice, and beans overtook my senses.

And that's when it happened... The sky was torn asunder and a giant hand swept through and pointed in the direction of Tacos Tijuana. At that moment I understood what needed to be done.

I tipped my hat, and away I went. After the arduous journey, I finally arrived to Tacos Tijuana... And I understood, that this was my destiny.
