We visited The Grand Theatre In March of 2021, Excited with our Daughter to hold her Quince here! During the time signing the Contract with Liz ( the owners wife ) we asked her.. With COVID and things being crazy, if something happens, how difficult would it be to change the date? She said.. " No worries, we are flexible - the contract says we don't move dates, but we know times are crazy." Fast forward, after making regular payments to them- COVID destroyed our family business. We reached out and asked if they would change the date or refund - After some debate- they decided to charge us $1900.00 to change the date!!! After trying to pick a date, for whatever reason our dates for the following year kept being picked- therefore pushed the date over a month away from our daughters birthday! We kindly asked for a refund, and we were told to refer to the contract where it states NO REFUNDS, NO CREDITS, NO MONEY BACK AT ALL!!!!!!! Now, they were willing to keep $1900.00 to change the date, which " Is not in their contract either" but to refund us our money now that things dont work out at all.. SHAME! Times are difficult, and the false statement Liz made, on how easy it would be to make changes, is UNTRUE! They are now keeping THOUSANDS of DOLLARS and rendering NO SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!

At no point during the initial discussion did you ever state that there would be a $1900.00 fee to change the date. If you and your team were willing to then change the date for almost $2k, what would the difference be if we had yet to pick a date in 2022? Each time we tried picking a new date in 2022 it was "taken" we can not just PICK a date that has NOTHING to do with our Daughters Birthday- The pressure that you put on us during difficult times and trying to tell us that dates FAR out into 2022 were taken? But yet you had just explained to others that you do not book out further that a year at a time? If We started negotiating dates for 2022 in Aug- for Oct 2022 thats more that a year out- VERY unreasonable- You all were pleasant while collecting the money... but that was it. Once we let you know what happened and how bad things had gotten- you were less concerned- I see no reason why you would see it fit to keep ALL of the monies we paid into the event above the $1900.00. If you were willing to do a date change and KEEP the $1900.00 while still hosting another event on the same date.. you can refund the rest of the money we paid you- as you are not going to render services- You wanted us to push the date out well into LATE November of 2022 and each time we came back to you the dates were magically taken. Read moreWe couldn't be happier with our decision to choose the Grand Theater as the venue for my daughter's quinceañera. From start to finish, their customer service and communication were outstanding. I can be quite indecisive, and despite making a few last-minute changes, Liz was incredibly patient and accommodating. The venue itself is spacious, beautiful with the right florist/decor. They offer a wide variety of food options, including late-night snacks. Although we were fortunate to bring in our own vendors for a funnel cake and nacho bar, I would recommend double-checking with the venue regarding their policy on hiring outside vendors. Unfortunately they don't allow you to have your last practice on site but the dance still went well with her fairytale dancers.
The venue is air-conditioned, but it can still get warm, especially in the changing room in the back. The room available for the quinceañera to change doesn't have AC, only a fan, which was the only downside we encountered.
The food tasting was exceptional, and although I didn't get to eat much during the event due to nerves, my family—who are never shy with their opinions—raved about how delicious everything was. The staff, from security to bartenders, were attentive and professional throughout the night. A special thanks to the lead server who worked closely with my coordinator to ensure the dinner service went smoothly. The entire team, including Claudia, Liz, and everyone working on Friday, 10/4, was incredibly kind and constantly checked in on me, reminding me to relax and enjoy the evening.
The venue’s preferred vendor list is excellent. Guillermo from Evolution floral Events and Luis from Prestige Event Production were worth every penny. MC Joel and DJ Oscar also did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor packed and the energy high. I would suggest that they consider adding Nare quince photographer, to their preferred vendor list, as she and her team are amazing. Read moreI had previously inquired on viewing this location & had different people reach out to me about giving me a walk through claiming they were coordinators which was a but confusing but I received a call from one of them name kat and stated she would give me the tour. I made an appointment with almost a week in advanced the next day after booking I had to move our appointment from 11 to 12:30 which they said was no issue. I received a confirmation text the day of the walk through about 30 minutes before which I responded to that I would be there shortly. I arrived to the location around 12:20 and I loved the area it was in. I texted the number letting them know I arrived (mind this was the instructions provided). My fiancé and I got off to go to the sales office the doors are see through so we saw she was with a client which is totally fine but she completely pretended not to see us we went back to the car and waited. At 12:40 I decided to text another number they provided I called & texted no answer. I waited almost 40 minutes with 0 response from Kat while she was in the building. I was so upset and left I received a call almost an hour later asking if I still wanted to see it I was so angry I just hung up.
