Customer service is absolutely terrible. To be fair, I did not taste the food to comment on the cooking quality however it was due to incompetent service that caused it to be so. I ordered a chicken with an assortment of sides and appetizers via Door Dash. After failing to confirm the order for 15 minutes, I inquired with Door Dash if everything was okay. They attempted to call the restaurant but were unsuccessful despite posting that they were still open at 8:30pm. During this time I noticed that the chicken was removed from my order without reason given. I attempted to call the restaurant myself to discuss however the lady who answered the phone did not speak English. I’m all for people coming to USA to live the American dream but if someone can’t speak English to work in a service industry, they signed up for the wrong job. Ultimately DoorDash cancelled the order and, to my understanding, the restaurant will be fined per DoprDash policy. Such a shame but it is what it is: poor service is...
Read moreMy family came here for Father's Day. We were greeted by the piercingly loud sound of quarter decent singing as they had live singers in the back. We asked them to turn the volume down, which they slightly did, then promptly turned it back up. I go to punk shows every weekend, but this was just obnoxious. The music was insanely loud and none of the singers were Peruvian. We got a hastily cleaned booth with a table cloth thrown over the top. Immediately behind us was a box they loudly threw dirty plates and silverware into. The service was very slow and we had to ask for them to come take our orders. When we did, we couldn't communicate with the servers or each other because the music was so insanely loud. The lomo saltado was actually relatively tasty, but the papa la huancaína was not so impressive. Slow to collect our check and then we left. Would be better if they catered to their...
Read moreYucca said it came covered in a sauce. We asked for it on the side and they brought it out covered in a gross sauce, the yucca was super dry like it was old. The place say's it has pizza, we ordered pizza and they had no pizza. The ranch salad dressing was gross. The chicken soltado was okay. The beef soltado was kind of weird. A friend had the chicken with noddles. He said he liked it. Their green garlic sauce was nothing but spicy, no good flavoring. This place has no chance in competition vs. pollo inka. The staff was nice, one barely spoke english the other did, some folks who were there after us got their food before I did. We tried this place because it was closer than our usual spot "inka cantina" in fountain valley. I gave inka cantina 5 stars, that's our favorite Peruvian food restaurant. This Aires place has no...
