Customer service is absolutely terrible. To be fair, I did not taste the food to comment on the cooking quality however it was due to incompetent service that caused it to be so. I ordered a chicken with an assortment of sides and appetizers via Door Dash. After failing to confirm the order for 15 minutes, I inquired with Door Dash if everything was okay. They attempted to call the restaurant but were unsuccessful despite posting that they were still open at 8:30pm. During this time I noticed that the chicken was removed from my order without reason given. I attempted to call the restaurant myself to discuss however the lady who answered the phone did not speak English. I’m all for people coming to USA to live the American dream but if someone can’t speak English to work in a service industry, they signed up for the wrong job. Ultimately DoorDash cancelled the order and, to my understanding, the restaurant will be fined per DoprDash policy. Such a shame but it is what it is: poor service is...
Read moreThe wait time was a little too long then planned after we sat down. I ordered the chica Mordada and my friend ordered the papaya fresca. The papaya fresca came in a small pitcher which was a large amount of fresh juice for the price I thought after comparing it to thecost of an orange juice that comes in a glass at IHOP. I ordered the polo con arroz, it was nice I had two pieces of chicken roasted on top of rice that was seasoned well and had a nice cilantro spiciness taste. My friend had the steak and potato fries with a fried egg on top of his arroz. We both enjoyed our meals which was really good. We sat there for a while and they did not say anything to chit chat to catch up with each other. We didn't ask for the check gave a nice tip and left. Definitely a great Peruvian restaurant.
update revisit: Server was awesome tonite. very attentive, Arroz Chaufa de Pollo was delicious with great green onion flavor with lots of it in the dish. ...
Read moreMy family came here for Father's Day. We were greeted by the piercingly loud sound of quarter decent singing as they had live singers in the back. We asked them to turn the volume down, which they slightly did, then promptly turned it back up. I go to punk shows every weekend, but this was just obnoxious. The music was insanely loud and none of the singers were Peruvian. We got a hastily cleaned booth with a table cloth thrown over the top. Immediately behind us was a box they loudly threw dirty plates and silverware into. The service was very slow and we had to ask for them to come take our orders. When we did, we couldn't communicate with the servers or each other because the music was so insanely loud. The lomo saltado was actually relatively tasty, but the papa la huancaína was not so impressive. Slow to collect our check and then we left. Would be better if they catered to their...
