My girlfriends recently took me here for my bday celebration and this place did not dissapoint! My girlfriends definitely know what I like and they hit the spot with this place!
First off, as soon as we walked in, I was really digging the modern, tropical, edgy, industrial vibe. The music was a great mix of 90s R&B top hits. The place was spacious with plenty of bar and high-top table seating.
We love trying exotic food, so their wide menu selection was such an amazing treat!
We had the following: *Lettuce wraps: this tasted like a Thai style salad and was delicious!
*Chicken feet: not what I was expecting, but pleasantly surprised! They were perfectly seasoned and had a delicate crispyness to them. We ate them all!
*Chicken knuckles (or something like that): these were very crunchy and surprisingly good! They kinda reminded me of chicken gizzards. Loved them!
*Oysters on a half shell: these were good, but weren't my favorite. They were a bit on the small side and could've been more fresh. We still enjoyed them and ate them all though.
*Curry noodles:This dish was very tastey with a little kick. It cane highly recommended by our awesome server Tinh!
*Beef oxtail stew with bread sticks: I think this was everyone's favorite! The beef was very tasty and tender. The broth was perfectly seasoned along with carrots and shitake mushrooms. This was so perfect for dipping the breadsticks in. It's a must have!
*Squid:Perfectly tender with a tasty dipping sauce. I think the sauce could've used a little more flavor, since the squid didn't seem to have much seasoning or flavor added to it. I do tend to enjoy stronger abd more robust flavors than the average person tbough. If you like squid, you'll definitely enjoy this dish!
*Soft shell crab: Comes with two perfectly crispy soft shell crabs. I liked it, but not crazy about it. I'm a huge fan of soft shell crab, but this was just ok for me. I'll try it again to see if maybe they were just having an off day.
*Truffle fries: Wish there was stronger truffle flavor, and not fried so much, but my friends loved them and cleaned up the plate!
*Sweet & spicy chicken wings: I'm a huge fan of chicken wings. Loved these! Super delicious and perfectly crispy!
We enjoyed three bottles of Proseco and a few cocktails. Would've been extra nice if we had an ice bucket for the bottles of Proseco, as it was a warm day. We made sure to drink them fast while the proseco was still cold. Lol. if you like margaritas, try their sweet & spicy one. I forgot what it is called, but it's a popular one & delicious! They have a huge full bar with a wide range of beers.
We had such an enjoyable time here! I can't wait to come back!
Thanks again for the great...
Read moreWent here last Saturday hoping to catch the UFC fight but it was not on (from a previous visit we were told they show the fights). No issue it’s usually a fun time anyway. I got a tower then I wanted to order 12 shots and the waitress mentioned it’ll be just about $20 ish more to buy a bottle so I went that route instead. Eventually I ordered some Cajun fries. Remember to check your receipt, gratuity was included at the table we were sitting at (not sure if it’s for reserved tables or the party size). Later on in the evening security approached me and said Sydney (sp) told him I grabbed her aggressively and asked me to leave. The only interaction I had with this woman was when she was walking by I raised up two fingers and ordered Cajun fries then handed her my card (she was not our main waitress). Being asked to leave was no issue for me, I wasn’t there for an important event but having someone lie and say I grabbed them is what upset me the most (I don’t go around grabbing women when I’m sober, drunk or high). The only people I grabbed were the guys at my table and it wasn’t even aggressively. Security told me I was drunk and overreacting when I asked them to pull the video camera. I was tipsy yes but can recall the whole night and if they pull the video from that night they can see I was minding my own business (I was in the black and white Nike tracksuit with glasses on. Seated at the center low table before they change to...
Read moreI was our first time to go to a beer house restaurant and we didn't regret it! The place has a really nice atmosphere and wonderful Christmas decorations (since it's Christmas soon). We all loved the ambience and the colorful setting inside the restaurant. If you're coming here for lunch, you won't regret it. We came on a Saturday afternoon, around 1:30pm for a party of 3 and we didn't have to wait long since a lot of people go to this restaurant at night. We had two waitresses that served us and they were very kind and quick to deliver our food and drinks. We ordered the crispy rice cake with toppings as our appetizer, and shared 3 entrees: the garlic noodle and grilled shrimp, the pork belly rice bowl, and the salmon in red curry sauce. All of them were very delicious, visually appealing, and resonable pricings. They were all very savoring with the right spices and toppings. But the one that amazed us the most was the cocktail drinks offered in the restaurant. We ordered 1 Sangria, 1 Spicy daisy, and 1 Ace blood. We all agreed that the drinks were awesome. If you want a stronger alcholic cocktail then the Ace blood is definitely for you. If you like a lighter alcohol then the Spicy daisy and the Sangria are the ones for you. I personally felt that the Ace blood is very strong for a person whose go to cocktail drink is the Sangria. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch here and had a lot of fun. Maybe take a chance to stop by here and see...
