Absolutely ridiculous After stepping in BY MY SELF to really quick I order Galbi And rice and potaoes wedge's I asked to sit down and they said sure it was late already but plenty of time they said So cool, I sit down and she comes back and asks me "IS NO TIP OKAY" Like like I barely been in the restaurant for literally less than 10 mins are you seriously Suggesting I tip you already because I paid by card 🤣 that was super uncomfortable as a young adult that has never had that happen to me but have only read about it by other people in reviews for restaurants as we have all seen before having it happen to me was super uncomfortable because I haven't even got my food and already feel like I sealed a deal for a bad Experience which is exactly what happened that Galbi was absolutely Ridiculous with nothing but FAT!!if I could put all the meat into a taco it would make 2 tacos that 10$ a taco and I get no tortillas 🤣 on top of that I paid Extra for Rice and I had to order and extre bowm because the first one was half full so that was an extra 6$ ! Already there goes your Tip! You could go to the casino down the street they have Galbi for 21$ it comes with rice Lol Omg I forgot on top of that Mr.Adon refused to serve me rice just blatantly said SORRY I TROM LAST CALL ALREADY, IM LIKE IM ASKING FOR RICE!?! SURE ENOUGH I ASK THE FEMALE WAITRESS AND SHE IMMEDIATELY GOES TO THE BACK AND GETS THE RICE FOR ME! Now at that point I feel like I had my first act of discrimination, because what the heck was that about Mr. adon ? I asked to talk to the manager! And guess what ! Apparently he clocked out and went home already! WOW 35$ down the drain Don't come here unless Your KOREAN Or some type of Asian Ethnicity or tip them right off the bat I mean for Christ sakes I'm a college student coming in for a quick bite this place did not at all scream High end Restaurant where I even thought I would run into this type of situation for simply not tipping in the Beginning, that being said I left without leaving a tip, I leave as though my top is this comment ... Mr. Adon so his name that was given too me honestly your a young man I hope you grow up Abd treat EVERYONE with respect and grow out of your discriminatory Ways that you have come to live and judge people by, I even asked him for a napkin while he was in uniform and he said sorry "I clocked out already" like dude your representing the restaurant your in uniform and you can't even get me a napkin at that point it was comical ... I hope the manager can MANAGE when he comes back in can Teach the young man how to TREAT Customers and it was the lady that asked for th too RGHT away but if guess it was mr.adon that took it more personally than she did but she also she never come up to me and ask twice I mean can I not trust the employees do I physically have to write 0.00 on the receipt and take a to make sure they don't try to commit fraud or why the hell are you asking me so they not have BASIC COMMON SENSE. OWNER IF THIS RESTAURANT NEEDS TO TALK TO HIS EMPLOYEES ASAP! The only thing good...
Read moreWhen I arrived in the Japanese restaurant with my airpod on. I was expecting a peaceful dine-in. Like quite but when the server came, she brought me to a one table and close to the noise. Laughing louder, I could not heard my own voice on my social media even there is a music on my phone with my airpod on. It was loud. Then, I call the server and I explained to them to move me to another table but when I moved to another table, I suppose to document myself in social media about my situation with my online stalker but, I am still hearing tiny noise then these youngster left after they have fun with the food. There was a 2 old men who are drunk and I am hearing racial stereotype of my race and my home country. One old guy says, “ she was reminded me my daughter “ then he said this “ go back to the Philippines “ these two old men they were talking about me because I'm Filipino and they were supposed to not doing racial bias behind my back. I told through the server, there is two drunk men and talking about my race and country. One server man “ this is a restaurant “ basically I can hear some noise but these two old men are continuing their conversation and I am still hearing same word “ go back to the Philippines “ , so, I called the server again. I don’t wanna making fight with man because I’m a woman. But these two men still saying same thing and heard from them about my language that I spoke which was taga-log. The food is tasty together with dessert and it was cheap but overall, I could not enjoy my dine-in experience with this restaurant and. It is inside of decent hotel. I would not recommend this place to enjoy the dine-in experience. I will give 2 stars out of 5 stars on google maps because what I...
Read moreThis little hidden gem is nothing short of fantastic! The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, the venue itself is very welcoming and comfortable - and while it’s not over-the-top fancy, it’s not really supposed to be. It’s very much like home, complete with home style cooking!
The menu isn't a novel, which is good. There’s more time and attention paid to the few but delectable selections. Very straight and to the point, which is rare for restaurants nowadays, what with everyone constantly trying to outdo each other with unnecessary gimmicks.
The prices are very fair - the portions are extremely generous, and the food itself is absolutely delicious. Every dish is just dancing with flavor and memories of home. (I’m a happa, too!) My husband and I like to come here for our occasional date night, and we’re never disappointed.
6/5 stars, Happa is always the go-to for us in every category! (Try the burdock chips - I just might go in today for some, they...
