The kiddo typically picks Cane's when selecting dinner for her dinner night(We give her one a week 😋) but tonight she chose Chick-fil-A, so we obliged.
Fast forward 30 minutes later when we get home and sit down with the smile on her face to find she didn't get any dinner at all, but she did have her lemonade so that helped.
Being daddy, I got up and drove back to make sure we got her taken care of and tonight wasn't a sad wash for her. Left the wife at home with her dinner and our 4 year old with her lemonade but set out with a replacement for my food as it would certainly be cold after the hour round trip.
Got in line and called through to the store a couple of times before getting someone to pick up. Finally Natalie answers and I relay what happened, moments after a 'one moment' she comes back to the phone to tell me they will replace the kids meal, after asking about the cold food in a bag beside me, I received a 'we can replace the fries'. I asked, 'Not the sandwich (lol)?', then 'one moment'.
Now the manager answers, 'Before I get into reiterating the story and explaining my wife has her food so we're good there, he responds with 'Do you have the old food?!' '..., umm yesss'(Guess they were going to resell it?) Then, 'OK, I'll replace it.'
I drive up and reiterate this all to the attendant and he motions me on. Then they attempt to give me drinks and everything which I declined since I didn't need doubles. Somehow still made it home with an extra cookie and a replacement of my wife's meal too, either they didn't get what I needed or they were trying to "take care of me".
In all, I took the time to write this so those running this organization know they are breeding a toxic environment towards the customer and none of this sat right when I just wanted what I came for in the first place.

I LOVE CHIC FIL A! BUT...Sadly I have been by this location at least 5 times in the last couple of weeks and drove away without food. The line literally wrapped around the building TWICE! The first few times I just looked at the line and the speed it was moving and decided I didn’t have time to wait through it. I thought maybe it was just a fluke and would be shorter next time. NOPE! The last time I decided to go ahead and try the line. I got in line and rounded the building once and was even with the speaker after 5 minutes but still in the outside lane with one more wrap around to go. Then the person in front of me let THREE CARS IN LINE IN FRONT OF ALL OF US!! I was furious!! 😡😡 There were several cars behind me that wrapped all the way around to the front. Read moreI kid you not, every single time i have ordered their APP and ask my brothers to pick up the food through drive thru, they always call me and tell me a worker said my form of payment did not work. I am currently otp rn w a manager on my 3rd time with this situation. My issue is that they’ll say this is how their system is, and that they haven’t really taken the money yet even though my statement says it’s been taken from my account. so the passed two times i’ve always just paid again, and waited about a week, due to them letting me know it takes 2-5 days for the first amount to come back. i’ll wait a week to see if the cash is back, and it won’t be. so i basically pay for my meal twice. on my second occasion of this happening, a worker gave me a number to call about the issue. i was on hold for about 40 min to an hour. i’m not understanding what the hassle is. if i’m receiving a receipt. with an order number. and im calling to provide this order number each time, and im telling you that you’re taking the money because i see it here on my banking app, like??? maybe change the way your system works? because this...
