Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Garland

It's Sonic, if you've been to one you know what to expect. As Sonics go, this one is on par. We go here because my kids see the toys and want them, fast food is fast food after all. My daughter gets the kids Grilled Cheese, this is almost always a soggy "toasted" lump of bread and cheese. After this last time she said she didn't want to come back. The food doesn't travel far before getting cold, especially when they pack the cold chocolate milks in with all the food. My son opted for apple slices in place of fries, good choice, these were warm and slightly browned. I wouldn't let him eat them. My wife got a chicken sandwich, plain, the bun was so much bigger than the chicken; she was able to remove the top bun and wrap the bottom one around the chicken like a hotdog. My cheese tots some how got chilli added to them, by the time I get home its too late. To top it all off, they take way too long. Every time we go here, even if there is no one else, our food or drinks take way too long. They do drinks well and have plenty of options, as this is sonics thing. We stop by if we want an ice cream or special drinks after diner. This is not my first or second, or even third choice...

Every time i go i remember why i hate it. Food is good but service is really really terrible.. always expect service to be slow so waited 20 mins for food. Ordered for 4 people so it was quite a lot of food so okay we waited. Food gets brought out in one single small bag packed tight to breaking point, say to the guy there is no way all our food is in there, he assures us it is. So we painfully unpack it all and sure enough nearly half the food is missing, we pack it back up and inform the guy. He eventually brings us the rest of the food, without another bag and kinda throws it on us through the window. We had to find another bag in our car to try and hold the rest of the food in. No common sense but it always happens at sonic. Wish the food wasn't so good as we would definitely never crave it every six months or so when we had forgotten what the...

I visited this location on Friday, waiting 15 minutes no one ever took my order and then the lights were turned off on several customers waiting to place orders. So today, I revisited this location, here now the young lady rings up my order for #2, I bring it to her attn that the price she charged me is not the price shown on the menu. She doesn't apologize for the discrepancy first of all, then she tells me she can't change it and tells me to have a nice day. Disregarded the issue, never said let me notify my mgr, Sonic train these kids how to handle customers issues, don't just pass the buck. I certainly don't have extra money to throw your way. Get it right. I also asked for $1.99 Wacky Pack, she tells me that stopped to days ago. I had to correct her and let her know I just came on yesterday and paid $1.99 for it, she had nothing to say...
