Went here yesterday for lunch and dinner and the experience was literally day vs darkest night. Let's start with lunch. I had the rib eye steak sandwich cooked medium rare with a sweet potato as my side. Took two years almost of living here for one of these establishments here in the triangle to cook my steak as ordered. Sweet potato was great! I wish they had only added more brown sugar/cinnamon and butter to my potato due to the size of it. Now, dinner is where it gets sad. Maybe the change in shifts or the ramp up of people but the experience was not that great. I got the entree combo with a 6oz sirloin cooked medium rare and ribs with broccoli and a sweet potato. This time the sweet potato has the right combo of brown sugar/cinnamon and butter to potato ratio I hoped lunch would have. Steak cooked perfectly. The disappointment came with my ribs and what a disappointment it was. Ribs are presented horribly on my plate. Cut poorly and the bbq seemed to be spooned on top of each section. The overall look was the equivalent of the appearance of Freddy Kreguers skin and the outside char on the skin may have been good Ole hack and slashes skin wrapped around the actual meat.. The meat was dry brittle and slightly tough. This coupled with my wives potatoes being extremely poorly mashed and my son receiving mushrooms all over his first burger made us determine that dinners there are officially off our food run list going forward.

After 5 minutes had gone by, I asked about the chili and she said, why didn't you say anything when I bought out your other food. Can you believe this? I'm suppose to remind her of her job duties? She went and got the chili and said I want charge you for this because I know you're probably over here talking about me. This was unbelievable! She further tried to explain that her children were constantly calling her because the internet had been turned off in her home. Being a director in the food service industry, I can honestly say that this is by far the worst customer service I've encountered in a very long time. Needless to say, I boxed my food up and left the restaurant. My great evening was destroyed. Logan's should invest more time in customer service training immediately!

I didn't have such a great experience at Logans. On June 5, 2023, my sister and I called to ask about celebrating my moms 67th birthday there. When we called we asked a few questions about seating. Grant it, we were calling in the day of; but it was a Monday. We figured there would no issues getting seating. We initially thought we'd be there with 18 guest, so we over quoted. We were transferred to someone (manager) who kept using the word "unfortunatley". They kept saying that we couldnt all be seated together. Finally at the end of the conversation; we stated that someone would be there early to get proper seating, the manager agreed. When my sister arrived; there was no one in the building except a few staff members and the a couple customers. My sister then explained that we had called earlier and the lady ran and grabbed the manager. They worked on getting the tables set up while she waited in the lobby. They would not allow her, her husband and 2 sons to go back until there were 9 guest there. I walked in as she was sitting and asked what was the hold up; they hostess was rude and kep saying "you can't go back". Finally I demanded that we be seated bc my mother was with me and my son.

Afterwards, they let us in. As we were waiting, I saw a few other guest arrive; (including my 2 older sons). I waited to see where they were and again, the freakin hostess would not allow them to come back; alond with 3 of my mom's 70 year old + sisters. I had to walk back up and demand that they are allowed to come back. Again the hostess was rude and the manager on staff. FINALLY everyone had arrived; and the servers started rushing my family to order. Again, these people are in their late 60's and 70's, being rushed to order. I ordered last bc I wanted to make sure that everyone ordered. I ordered a salad and a Ocean Rita. When my drink came; it was rushed out to me and began to drink. I noticed in the glass that there was a freakin fly stuck to the glass. I tried to get a picture of it; but someone came and snatched it away quickly before I made a scene, which COMPLETELY ruined my appetite. We asked if the air could be turned up; bc it was freezing in there; the server rolled her eyes and reluctantly turned it up. The manager on duty came and brought my drink back and asked why I wasn't smiling. I told here that I couldn't smile bc ther was just a fly in my drink. Finally at the end; the servers refused to separate the bills. Then to add insult to injury, they still charged me for the drink that I did not even drink as well as the food that I didn't eat; on top of the poor service we received. I will say that i will never return to Logans again to eat again. Something inside of me told me not to eat there after the conversation we had with the manager before we arrived. But my mom really wanted to go there for her birthday. BEWARE before going to Logans.

Update: I called the next day to speak with a manager (I spoke with TT) who was VERY nice. She was understanding and stated that the general manager would be giving me a call back. She never did. So I called today 6/8 and spoke with the GM Jackie, who seemed very non chalant about my experience. Stated that they would speak with team about my experience. Then added this comment "thats why we dont do parties".... that wasnt the issue. If we were told that in advance; we would have taken our group elsewhere. When I explained to her about the fly (which I did drop an F bomb bc it was disgusting), she stated that I shouldn't curse at her; in which I wasn't I was passionatley explaining the situation. When I asked about speaking to someone in corporate; she said she couldnt give out there number and asked for my information. Nonetheless, I do not expect a call back...but I felt that someone should know how they treat...

We had the Filet & Shrimp combo which was for a birthday celebration in our party of 6 people. Rolls terrific, crispy onions yummy, baked potatoes great, but the steak left me sickened!!! I had the filet and wife had the shrimp. The filet was charred black very badly on the outside edges and tasted burnt all the way into the steak. Ordered it medium and the inside was, but the outer crust was charred so badly that it was inedible. It had the taste of fuel on it - kind of a chemical taste! then I put some A-1 on it just to make it taste something like it should have, but I soon realized that the steak had an offensive spoiled odor coming from it on top of everything else. It had no steak flavor at all. My son even took a bite and said there's something wrong with that one. This is not the first time this has happened!! I had a sirloin that tasted of chemical (propane gas flame?) as well. Plus the salads had very different flavor too - the ranch dressing was too watery! Something has changed at this restaurant and it shall be our last visit at this location in Garner.

On top of all of this - we had arrived Saturday evening at 5:00pm sharp to avoid the long wait. We were told originally that our party of 6 would have to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes!! We started to leave, but then were told that he could fit us in 35 minutes from then so we stayed and waited, and waited, and waited - until finally getting seated at 6:44pm. The wait time was as originally estimated 1 + 45 so we should have left.

After eating some of that filet, I felt sick and my mouth began watering - precursor to vomiting it back up in the MENS room. As I got home, my stomach was churgling and I realized I was going to have an impressive diarrhea attack next. I hit the bathroom 4 times in succession for the next 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I would have given this restaurant a 0 (zero) out of 5 if there was one for serving a piece of spoiled filet to my wife and me, on a birthday celebration, after a lengthy wait to be seated!! This place had a 95.5 Health Rating and I think it was worse than that score! One glance into the salad prep area on our way out gave me reason to shun ever coming back to this tomane temple!! Sorry for the trust I have shown in you all for the last 2 years, but I'm done with it now! Should be closed until you learn to grill steaks properly!!! We'll go elsewhere from now on. ...... Me and my uncle went to eat here have ate here before worse experience ever. Waiter brought us our tea worse tea I ever had there they said it was just made. My uncle worked a steak house he knows fresh tea from old tea and that tea was old. The bread was old hard and crunchy asked for fresh when we saw him bring the other tables fresh bread definitely better the adother he brought. Yuck. So we asked waiter give us a sec to order he said he be back. We waited and waited I finally had call him over he was sitting at a table with other waitresses running their mouth. He took our order normally u get your salad before steaks. A couple came in got their salads before we got ours and they came in way after we did. So time we got our salad here came the steaks. My uncle told me worse steak he ever ate from here I tasted his and it was over cooked definitely not medium well unseason. I gave him a piece of mine the biggest difference crazy. As we were finishing up Waiter went checked on another table asked if everything was OK walked right by us never said a word the staff moved to a back ares continue talking to a while trying to get Togo containers. Because of the nasty tea my un le got a beer I order a mixed drink came back later informed me blender was broke. Yeah right why when I left someone had one. Their loss not mine. I am so disappointed in this use to be my favorite steak house we drove 45min here to eat because it was so good and the places around home was not like a steak house steak. More of a home cooked steak. I wasn't going to do a review online but being I did a online complaint through website and they couldn't even call. I hope people have there experience then what we did.

I do have to note there was one guy I think he did the dishes he was so sweet he even took time to stop and asked how we were and if everything was. all some job fellow u made experience a life Question: what makes a good meal?
