Rarely ever do I get frustrated enought to leave a review, but the arrogance of their Assistant Manager Juwan (spelling?) made my blood boil tonight. Went through and bought dinner for my son, which I hate to admit we too way too often as he thinks it is the only thing he can eat. I explained several of the staff and Juwan that my wife had came there two days ago and bought me a 1/2 gallon of sweet tea since I was sick. They gave her unsweet which I do not drink and I asked them to make it right for me despite not bringing it back with me because I was coming home from work. After giving me a story basically insuiating I was lying to him, Juwan quickly brushed me off and walked away from me in the middle of my conversation. A good manager would have apologized and said they hated that happened, not even close with Juwan. At one point I actually asked him, do you think I am lying to you just to get a free 1/2 gallon of tea. Sometimes as a manager, you pick your batttles and give the customers the benefit of the doubt knowing your staff is not perfect. Instead Juwan walked away from me as the ultimate sign of disrrespecting your customer. I am sure replacing that 1/2 gallon may have cost him a dollar, but instead he has now lost my business at this location for good. Just for proof to satisfy Juwan, here is my credit card transactions at McDonals last 12 month at over $1,600 with my wife's card probably more like an additional $2k. I also added a picture of the unsweetedned tea they gave me the day earlier as proof that I had not tried to mislead him. Pick you leaders better McDonald and teach them valuable lessons about choosing to argue with a customer instead of learning how to rectify something with tact and problem solving capabilities. I realize not a lot of them are qualified to do, but appreciates...
Read moreJust left this McDonalds and I take it the worker (a grown lady) at the window got offended by me stating I’d rather wait for my c/c than to pull up and wait by their door? For one, it’s a SECURITY BREACH and no one should ever be asked to blindly give their credit card and someone will come to return it. Secondly, there were no cars immediately behind me. The car directly behind me was at the first window paying for their meal. I’m uncertain as to why my card did not successfully swipe at the 1st window, but it didn’t, no biggie. So when I go to retrieve my meal, I’m asked for my credit card again then asked if I could pull up and someone will bring my card out. Why? So, I said, ‘I’d rather not because it shouldn’t take long to reswipe my card.’ The lady said because she didn’t want to hold the line up. I replied, ‘what line? There’s no one behind me.’ What made this situation distasteful was the GROWN lady’s response to her coworkers while I’m right there. She says, referring to me, ‘she doesn’t want to pull up’ and said, “how long is it going to take to swipe my card?” Then states, ‘I don’t want to argue.’ Huh? COMMON SENSE should tell you, if not McDonald’s policy, monetary transactions should ALWAYS be done in front of the customer. Then, to feel the need to discuss this to your coworkers in my presence not only was UNPROFESSIONAL but DISTASTEFUL. It took less than a minute for her to reswipe my card and the car behind me was STILL at the 1st window. 🤦🏽♀️ This TERRIBLE customer service has me longing for Chick-fil-A to hurry...
Read moreI ordered delivery from here. I ordered 2 meals with 2 Diet Dr. Peppers. The food was delivered and we had no issues until about an hour or 2 later when my son and I find our blood sugars have skyrocketed beyond what they should’ve for what we ate.
We’re both diabetic, although different types, we both did what we’re supposed to do before eating. But our sugar just jumped up and kept going up. We kept taking more insulin. My son’s blood sugar went up to 600 when it’s supposed to be 120 three hours after eating.
We went through our math and checked the insulin. We couldn’t figure it out. When my oldest came home she asked what was wrong and we told her. She’s the one who found out it was the “diet” Dr. Pepper. It’s was regular! We didn’t taste the difference but she did. We had inadvertently drank 122.4g of extra sugar without knowing it. Without taking any insulin for it. That is deadly. There are so many things that can go wrong when blood sugar gets that high.
My husband called the restaurant and talked to the manager that answered the phone. She asked questions, explained the process of filling drink orders and then told us we’d be hearing from someone about it. This happened on Feb 2, it’s now Feb 23 and we haven’t heard anything. Whoever is working the drink station needs to pay more attention to the drink orders. They’re not just for taste; people ask for diet drinks...
