I paid 16$ on door dash for a SMALL cup of a sweet potato cobbler that was supposed to come with ice cream per the menu listed. When I received my order the ice cream was not in the bag. I contacted my dasher and she said she was not made aware (nor was I contacted by the store). I called the store and they offered me a replacement ice cream whenever the truck came. They said a sign was hanging in the window. I asked to have my whole order replaced. Why should I be expected to drive to the store and get ice cream next day and purchase a new cobbler. The mgr that answered seemed to think the sign on the door was enough. No, I should have been contacted so I could cancel my order. The next day I spoke with another manager that wouldn’t let me get in one word due to her giving an endless array of excuses of why they was in the right. She ultimately told me the owner said they would uphold their policy and not replace my order. I told them since they were so hard up for cobbler and ice cream, they could keep it. This was my first and last experience. I would rather pay for great customer service instead of mediocre, overpriced dessert with horrible customer service. Being a franchise should not be an excuse to give bad customer service. It should be more of a reason to give excellent...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally got the chance yesterday. First of all, when you walk in and take a breath your nostrils will be filled with the wonderful aromas of cinnamon (from their cinnamon rolls which I didn’t get to try but very much to) and the smell of the incredible crust of the cobbler. My wife got the banana pudding mixed with the New York cheesecake and that was awesome, my wife let me try it but only gave me one bite because “…it’s too good to share.” I got the peach mango cobbler and oh my God was that fantastic. The crust is amazing. The peach mango filling was a touch too sweet but the vanilla ice cream helped even it out. We’ll definitely be back. Back when the Cheesecake Factory first opened up in Charlotte, in the South Park area I was living in an apartment right down the street and got a piece on my way home from work. That turned into a habit and I gained about 20lbs before I gave it up. I have a feeling that this place might do the same to me. I highly recommend it. Oh, and while it’s not cheap in my opinion it’s worth what...
Read moreI tried this place on a whim and I wasn't hopeful as I've had plenty of bad cobbler in my day but THIS cobbler is amazing!
As soon as you walk in, it smells like grandma's house, that's the only way I can describe it and the woman working there greeted us with a huge smile and she was extremely helpful in explaining all the options and flavors available. I ordered a dessert flight so that I could sample more as it was my first visit and opted for peach cobbler, caramel apple cobbler, oreo pudding and butterfinger pudding. The desserts were out fairly quick, they were hot, fresh and the flavors were exactly what I was looking for. The peach wasn't overly sweet with just the right amount of spice, the caramel apple had a nice balance without the caramel overtaking the taste of the apple and puddings were still banana forward with the other flavors more complimentary. She checked on us while we were there and made sure everything was to our liking. I visited on new years day and I plan on going back this week, I will never financially recover from...
