Other entertainers beware lisa's tavern gaylord Hired us to play alpine fest , july eleventh and ask for us to keep the twelve open to play the next day, The day of the show One of our other members wives said that we are not even on the schedule to play there It was somebody else . So I called her and she said oh yeah we don't need you. she didn't Even plan on calling me. I had to call her. We would have been there 8 o'clock that night. So anyway She refuses to compensate us and we'll not respond to any of my messages now. This message is not to trash or slander the Business.. One of the waitresses accused 1 of our band members Of being Inappropriate to a woman on her birthday making her uncomfortable . Well that woman Came and seen us at the elkhorn in vanderbilt and her exact words was quite the opposite We made her feel more than comfortable and was happy to be included in the fun. Nice.Try...

Lisa's tavern hired our band, The Side Hicks, to play July 11th, 2025, for Alpenfest. We were ready to play, and some of us even took the day off work because we had a show the night before. One of our members wives went to their fb page and noticed we were not on the schedule. After a phone call, Lisa said she did not need us. Now mind you, she did not call us to cancel, we called her. We would have shown up ready to play. We work on good faith. We expected that we would be compensated because we did nothing wrong. Lisa will not pay us, and she will not return any messages. Just a warning to others who may be considering playing a gig here. Beware. They management obviously doesn't care about keeping their end of the bargain. We were there for lunch. It’s the kind of place that was fine but I don’t need to go again or recommend it. We split a club sandwich. $15 with fries. It was fine, like a sandwich you throw together at house when you come home super late from work. Deli lunch meat. Toasted white bread from a bag, not great bread from a local bakery. Three strips of bacon. Tomato slices and iceberg lettuce. Decent but not great. Fries were hit and good. There’s a lot of tvs over the bar with sports stations on. It’s pleasant with a long bar and tall and standard tables. It looks like every other non-dive bar sports bar. At lunchtime during the week, it was quiet and pretty boring.
