We arrived at 11:30/11:45 to have lunch. They were busy so we were put on the waiting list and told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. No problem. We waited about 25 minutes and went back in to check the status. We waited about 5 minutes and the hostess sat us down at a table that was extremely wet and still had crumbs on it. The server came over and seen that the table was still wet and dirty and said sheād grab a towel to wipe it off for us. Then took our drink order. 2 orange juices. She came back with the orange juices and set them on the dirty table and then said sheād be back in a few again with the towel. After wiping the table, and giving us our drinks, she then told us they are only serving breakfast and the kitchen canāt handle lunch food. We wish we were told in the beginning that we were only being offered half of the menu. I told her we wanted lunch food so Iāll have to think about it and decide if we want to stay or not. She didnāt come back for a little while, so my husband went to find the hostess, just to have her tell our waitress we need the check and we would like to leave. The hostess said āwe are serving lunch.ā She went to check and came back to say the waitress was right and they arenāt serving lunch. Paying for the orange juices was expected, but I feel that it wouldāve been a nice and courteous gesture to not charge for the orange juices without informing us in the beginning that they were only able to serve half the menu. We would have appreciated the warning before ordering the orange juices. So that we could have saved that table for another group to come dine. I just feel things could have been done differently, and even an apology for the inconvenience would have been a respectful thing to do. Charging 4 dollars per OJ and then charging a 3% convenience fee for using a card to pay, seems a bit excessive.. especially when our situation was like this. Very disappointed, I hope for the future, the staff could be more aware of what was going on. It could have saved us and their staff the head ache and...

I imagine there's some sort of health code situation, with regards to that, but I dunno it's Michigan. Then, I and my coworker got to stand waiting right next to the bathroom after being informed of a 20-minute wait time despite the fact that there were 5 open tables. Upon being seated, we were informed that our waitress would be a few minutes, and we gave our drink orders to the hostess (water). We waited another 10 minutes or so for our waitress. We ordered our meals and promptly received our bill. Yes, we received our bill complete with a 3% credit card surcharge, and we had yet to receive even a morsel of food. My coworker ordered the Apline breakfast, and I ordered the banana bread french toast with a side of a corned beef hash and a cup of fresh fruit. We waited another 20 minutes for our food while we watched those around us come in, be seated, and served before we got anything to include a refill on our waters. When we finally received our food 45 minutes into our adventure, my coworker's order wasn't made to order, but since our waitress didn't return to check on us until we were almost done, we were glad we didn't want to wait for it to be corrected, we went ahead with eating. My banana bread french toast was cloyingly swee, making me glad that I had ordered the corned beef hash because I needed the salty to balance the sweet. The cup of fruit was small, a few cut-up strawberries, a handful of blue berries, and 4 slices of banana. My corned beef hash was from a can but there were a couple of crispy parts, so I can deal with that. We waited another 15 minutes after finishing to call our waitress over so we could pay. Due to her closing our ticket at the beginning of the meal it took about 15 minutes for her to figure iut how to split our check and let us pay. Overall, the food wasn't bad but the service left much to be desired. We likely won't...

The feast for your senses only continues inside. The walls are vivid and colorful without being garish or oversaturated, and the art hung up adds to the gorgeous atmosphere, highlighted by the cheerfully mismatched decor.
The food? Delicious. We tried some items from the breakfast menu and some items from the lunch, and everything was great. The french toast was light and not overly sweet, the eggs were well cooked and the skillets well made, and one star of the show was the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich. Honestly the best thing I ate there; crispy, salty, not too greasy. Iād highly recommend it.
Service was phenomenal. Firstly, on the day we were there it was an all lady staff. We love to see women owned businesses and ladies supporting ladies in the working world. Secondly, our server Jess was a riot. Quick, witty, and delightfully honest about the menu. She made our experience extra special.
In short, you CANNOT...
