Crumbl — Restaurant in Geneva Township

Today I went to pick up Cookies for a friend’s birthday and a second box for our family. I placed my order and while waiting in line was told I could either wait 15 minutes for the Chocolate Crumb Oreo that I had one of in each box, or I could substitute. I chose not to wait and substituted one cookie in each box. When the order came up, I was not shown the cookies as is usually the case. I got to the car and decided to double check before I left. Both boxes were incorrect. When I came in to talk to the girl behind the counter, she said she can’t take them back. I told her my order was incorrect. She did take one cookie from one of the boxes and put it in the second box so that it was correct. She then proceeded to tell me that I had ordered a chocolate chip cookie in the second box, which is incorrect. I have a photo on Crumbl’s website that shows what I ordered and a photo of what I got and they clearly don’t match, but it didn’t make any difference. First time buying Crumbl cookies and unfortunately it will be my last. Not sure what the hype is all about especially considering the cost. Maybe quality varies per location but this was a let down. Geneva appears to have issues based on the reviews I've read. I ordered late in the evening which was probably not wise. I selected an assortment of four, and the brownies were stale. I'm inclined to say they were over 24 hours old. The other issue I have is the box they came in was not properly sealed. It was NOT tamper proof. All of my meal deliveries are sealed with adhesive labels, stapled bags, etc. In addition, the presentation was below par. There is no food grade deli paper/liner in the box. Ordered online for delivery for work to bring in something for my birthday order a 12 pack of the large cookie box and a 12 pack of the mini cookie box. Received 2 12 pack mini cookie boxes.
