Wendy's — Restaurant in Genoa Township

1st time in this location and it'll be my last time. Upon going in everything seemed cool until my family went to the restroom. There was only 1 stall available for use due to paper towels being stuck in the other stall. When we were able to use the available we realized they were completely out of toilet paper & had a stack of paper towels on the toilet paper dispenser for all to use to wipe themselves. Next, the soap dispenser was a hit and miss on dispensing soap.

Lastly, we went to order food. I used a gift card after it showed approved the lady handed me my cups & she along with her trainee walked off to get my food. As they did that I went to get my drink. While doin so I was told my food was ready. I sent my children to get the food, only to have the lady to ye across the restaurant hey you still owe me money. I turned around puzzled because I was under the impression the gift card covered it all. I just brush it off like ok I'll just use another form of payment to cover the balance. We sot down to eat our food only to notice none of our sandwiches had cheese. So I go ask about why this was. Only for the lady to try to make it fault with the way I ordered, but I corrected her that it wasn't. Then she said, "oh well we ran out of American cheese we only have pepper jack & Asiago cheese." Im like why wasn't I informed of this before or during my ordering. She just steered at me & I just felt myself really about to go off. So I just packed up my children...

I will not return to this Wendy's! At the pay window, the employee had to go to another area to get me a receipt, after I asked for one because he did not offer! Then at the pickup window I noticed my receipt said sandwich with cheese, I did not ask for cheese, guess for some reason that's my fault because I didn't say no cheese. No biggie. Ordered no onion,, no tomatoes! Got my sandwich, I smelled onion but thought coulda been from inside the window and went on my way. Go park to eat.. my burger has no cheese, GOOD! BUT it had onion, ketchup and pickles. I ordered no onion and no tomato, which means it should've had ketchup mustard pickle mayo and lettuce! So I drive back over there, park and go in. Luckily still have my receipt so he knows what I want, had to ask for a new fry bc others were cold at this point! I leave again, thankfully have it correct, then realize they never gave me my drink at the pickup window. I said forget it. Oh yeah, I ordered cheese sauce for my fries also and that was like water. WOW! This used to be the better of the two Wendy’s in westerville. Went in due to the drive thru line being wrapped around the building, I should have known to just keep driving. Walk in and there are 20+ people waiting inside. Not due to lack of staff, but lack of urgency or a care. The worst part of all is the manager was there and he was the biggest problem! He wanted to show Mateo (who I am assuming works there but had the day off) his new iPhone 14, which the manager was scared to take out of his pocket because he didn’t have a case. Yup I know their entire conversation… because they weren’t working. Lead by example. Once I got vocal, along with 3 other customers the manager heard us and started moving, and guess what? People FINALLY got their orders! Imagine that!
