Ate here solo. Wasn’t very busy. (Each person of the wait staff had 2-3 tables) I had to wait 15 minutes just to order my water. She dropped the water off and immediately ran off. 10 minutes go by before she returns to take my order. I order something basic as I’m in a hurry. I wait another 5 minutes before chips and salsa were brought. Absolutely the worst chips and salsa I’ve ever had. Tasted like stale dollar tree chips with ketchup.
I ordered the combination plate with a chicken enchilada, beef chimichanga and beef quesadilla. While it looked well plated it was for from good. Rice was cold and had no seasoning. Beans were runny and tasted straight out of a can. The enchilada was unlike any I’ve ever seen before. Cheap corn tortilla, the enchilada sauce tasted like tomato water with so much sugar it was very off putting. The chimichanga was decent, the queso sauce on it was the best part of the entire meal. The waitress gave me steak rather than the shredded beef I asked for (I just said beef when asked) The steak was the only thing with any kind of seasoning on it but was lower quality than even Taco Bell and most of it was unchewable gristle. The quesadilla was ok but again received steak instead of the shredded beef I ordered and the tortilla was soggy. When the waitress came back to snatch my plate away (was actually going to finish my rice and beans because I was hungry and at this point just wanted to hurry up because my friend was about to get off work) she said she’d be back with the check. But I had asked her if I could order a dessert and she completely ignored me. Once I was brought the check I asked if I could speak to the manager and was told no that he was busy. I looked at the check and this is when I realized that when I said beef she had rang me up for adding steak and charged me an extra $4, taking my $15 meal up to over $20 after taxes. I did ask a different employee if I could speak to the manager and Leo came up and was very nice, heard what I had to say and about how rude and inattentive my waitress, Sol, was and even refunded the $4 overcharge. And handled the situation with the waitress. While I appreciate how the manager handled the situation, I will not return as the food was...
Read moreThe amount if meat you get in ths fajitas is NOT worth $19 by any means! I was only able to fill two out of the three tortillas and was still hungry when I left. I asked for an extra side of sour cream and some shredded cheese(cheese should come with it normally) and was charged $1.25 and .99 without the waitress letting me know first, its a small amount but still would have been courtous to give us a heads up. I would have probably used the extra sour cream if I had enough meat to fill a third tortilla. I asked my waitress if this was a normal amount in the fajitas and she apologized and said they were preportioned and offered to request another portion but it sounded like it was an extra charge and I didnt want to wait becausd it took so long for her to take our order and for our food to arrive anyway, so I declined. My step son ordered the steak soft tacos which also had hardly any meat at all, a little bit of lettuce and a teeny tiny bit of cilantro and onion. No sauce no cheese no tomato, nothing special about them at all, just dried up measly bites of overcooked steak and some lettuce and thats it. Also not worth the price. The only thing worth the money are the super burros, which my step sons friend got and loved. The hostesses were super sweet and nice though, and the nice gentleman that delivered our food...
Read moreWe get take out often and whenever one of us wants Mexican food for dinner, Las Margaritas is one of our absolute favorite go to restaurants.
If you love alcoholic beverages, you cannot beat Las Margaritas PINA COLADA!!! I've never had a carry out alcoholic beverage before and honestly, I don't think any beverage could beat the Pina Colada my husband brought me from Las Margaritas for Mother's Day! It was AMAZING! It was a very generous serving and a perfect blend of alcohol and their mix. YUMMY!!!
The food at Las Margaritas is always good and everyone in our family always enjoys their food. I usually get the chimichangas, which I did on Mother's Day and, once again, they were absolutely delicious!
My husband and I always get carry out and this is one of several restaurants we always tip 20% even though it's carry out. We always want to show our appreciation for their food and especially for their great service and wonderful staff!
We would definitely recommend Las Margaritas if you're looking for excellent Mexican food. Their drinks are also noteworthy and one of the best Pina Colada...
