Idk if it’s just because it’s a Monday morning but the employee interaction was not good for my wife and I. This was our first time coming here and the menu can be a little confusing if you’re not familiar with it. The employees did not offer a single suggestion or help us with ordering whatsoever even though we were obviously standing there trying to figure it out. We had to ask over and over again about ingredients and still the answers were very short and borderline rude. I don’t think a single employee had a smile on their face. We did not feel welcome at all, we felt like a burden, like they did not want us there at all (which they probably didn’t). The weirdest thing to me, which this may be procedure there but it was still weird, was that I had to pick up my tray of food from the stack of trays next to the register. It was just awkward having to walk around the counter and pick it up instead of it being handed to me. Like I said, maybe that’s just how they do it there but I would much rather have my tray handed to me.
The food itself was good. It was fresh and tasty. Really no complaints about the food. Just the service was so awkward. The craziest thing is as soon as we sat down they were all smiley and chatty with each other, but when we were ordering it was the complete opposite. None of them were rude, necessarily, but not welcoming at all. I’ve read a lot of reviews on here of people saying that the customer service was amazing so maybe we just caught them on a bad day, idk. We won’t be coming back or if we do, we’ll order online so we don’t have to feel like a burden to...
Read moreI travel around the country for work and love when there’s a CAVA. I’ve been eating in them for years, back when they actually offered a whole pita, and they had the house dressing to add.
This is the second time I’ve been to this location and it will be the last time. One person preparing bowls while the others are in back prepping. Nothing like watching the hummus being squeezed out of a giant plastic bag while I wait in line for 12 minutes…for 4 people…
You would have thought I asked for a first born child when asking if I could get the pita. They don’t even offer anymore. When it was put on the grill to heat it up there was a surprise of other burnt pita left on there.
Then, instead of wrapping my pita in the paper and giving it to me on the side, as has been done every other time I’ve eaten at a CAVA, it was thrown on my bowl and the person preparing my bowl just starts piling the other toppings on it. I asked if she could put the pita on the side, so she just folded it, still covered in the toppings. I even offered to hold it, to which the pita was thrown away and a new one was prepared and served in the paper sleeve.
It’s too bad, because this is one of my favorite franchises, but I won’t be...
Read moreI always love the food when I am here. I come back every time because it has so much flavor. This experience I spent $50 when I went to get my beverage, it was not available. I asked the associate at the counter to please have someone change out the syrup for the diet Mexican cola on the fountain drinks. She said OK. She then decided to ignore my request and continue to do as she was doing. It took 5 minutes for someone to actually realize that I actually needed something. They went searching everywhere looking for the syrup looking like chickens with their heads cut off. No one was able to locate the syrup for the soda. I then requested a refund for my soda as I paid $3 and I only had a 1/2 cup to drink from. They explained to me that the only reason way they could do that as if they canceled my payment and make me repay another $40 more. That would've been almost $100 out of my pocket when I wasn't planning on...
