Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Georgetown

Oh lawd don't get me started. note- I ordered doordash So... let's start with the wait time, because this was the smallest of my issues (and most expected cuz its doordash) I had over an hour to be at a meeting, and I thought- plenty of time to doordash something with and under 25 minute wait time. Zaxbys wait time was 22 minutes- perfect! I left a nice tip for my driver so I knew it would quickly be accepted, and it was within 5 minutes of me placing my order. And it sends you updates where your driver is so I knew she had gotten to the restaurant within 10 minutes of accepting my order, but then she was there for a WHILE. Meaning she had to wait for the food to be done. She delivers it to me within 10 minutes of her finally receiving my food. But it took 45 minutes from the time I ordered to me receiving my food. And when she gives me my drink and bag I asked if the straw was in the bag and she said it should be because that's all they handed her, and I understand and appreciate that she didn't go ruffling through my bag to look for a straw cuz- corona. So I go in, and no straw. Nice. But the worst was when I opened my box- it was a whole mess. I ordered the combo with their 3 mini zax sandwiches and they were loose in the box. The buns, tenders, and sauce were everywhere I know KFC has a similar sandwich- their chicken little, which are individually wrapped in foil. Could have been packaged so much better. I don't blame the driver for this, because the slightest shift in movement of that box could have buns and chicken everywhere. Zaxby's house salad made with fried chicken is wonderful, IF you can get past the romaine. I think that anybody that does not like romaine, should be able to get a salad made with just iceberg lettuce. There are alot of people that do like romaine, and alot of people that don't. I'm one person that does not. I have called before and inquired about this, and the woman that answered the phone, (who was the manager at this time) said that they will not make salads with just iceberg lettuce, because it's not on the menu. Of all the scares we get on romaine that is tainted, in my opinion, an iceberg salad should be added to their menu. Because of this, I have not been to Zaxby's in 3 years now. And that's a shame, because Zaxby's has lost 3 years of my business. The employees have explained to me that the salads are premade. The employees have always been nice to me. They were always very curtious towards me. I don't blame them for this because this is not their fault. This is a management issue in which she showed no interest in trying to resolve. In short; if I want to eat a ragweed salad, I'll go graze with a cow! Please like and...

I literally just left this restaurant. I ordered 2 meals. Both had 1 bite taken from each and I returned to counter to tell them that the chicken tasted freezer burnt/ rotten/ bad and that I would like it replaced with something else. Manager came over and took my order and I waited for 30 mins to get my new order and it never came. I watched other orders being made and mine never came. I’m here to tell you that this is uncalled for. My money either needs to be returned or my order needs to be shipped to my house. Cause I don’t live here and can’t wait around any longer for my order. The tables were extremely dirty for not having much business and the employees were not performing duties to get the orders. Do not go here. And until I hear back from this problem- I will continue leaving bad reviews for this location.

UPDATE: (4-12-2025) Company headquarters reached out thru email in January 2025 and stated they would send gift card for the amount I was charged for spoiled food. It still never arrived just like the fresh food I was promised. Stay away from this establishment - or at least...
