First time I've ever had a bad experience at Bobby's. And the details are quite odd, myself being a longtime Bobby's fan. Customer service was good but here is my issue and I recommend others know this and get what you deserve. I ordered a classic cheeseburger and fries. It had been a while since I had been to Bobby's as I no longer work near one. But it did seem off to me that there was only one patty on my burger. And I got the skimpiest side of fries I've ever received at Bobby's. I began eating at Bobby's in Sandy Springs and I remember absolutely loving that location. The employees there knew my name and would come out into the lobby and refill everyone's fries if they were low and still eating. That's what makes customers keep coming back- genius service. And for me- the highlight of my meal there IS ALWAYS the fries and the Bobby Sauce. So when i ate at the Flowery Branch location later that week, I learned how disappointing that Barrett Pkwy experience was. When I ordered I asked if I could get a double and she told me that all their burgers were doubles. I also asked if I could get a large side of fries and she said there is only one size. So I ordered 2 orders of fries. I got so many fries that I could only eat 1 of the orders of fries. Though the Bobby's sauce dispenser was empty (a big bummer for me), I realized then that the Barrett Pkwy location must be intentionally shorting their customers. And that is exactly how to ensure customers never come back. Warning for anyone that goes there- they're intentionally giving you less than you pay for and apparently think you're stupid. I may eat there again but I'll be demanding what i pay for and you...
Read moreI've really been meaning to write this review for a long time - since the first time I went here after moving back to Marietta.
In the meantime, I've gone about 5 more times, once or twice a week, and I've had an exceptional experience every single time. It's not just consistently good service and food, it's consistently above and beyond.
The first time I went, Dave was at the register, and he was very friendly and helpful. We purchased a shake for dessert when we ordered, and he told us we could just give him a wave when we were done with our burgers to let him know to make the shake. Turns out he saw that we were almost done with our meal and ended up making the shake without us even having to let him know we were ready.
Other times we came, Jessica, one of the managers, has been very helpful and welcoming, and always with a smiling face. Last night, we stopped by again, and we were pushing it close to closing time, so we ordered to-go. Another group of about 10 came in just after us to eat, and the person at the register, and Jessica as well, were still so welcoming even close to closing time. They showed no sign of annoyance, and I know that can be a challenge having worked a lot in retail.
Many times we've been there, they bring around some extra fries while you're eating. And the fries - probably best I've had from many different places. They're the homemade kind of real fries, and they have about 10 different kinds of seasoned salt to choose from. And of course the burgers are pretty...
Read moreAlthough I have been a huge fan and supporter of this location of Cheeseburger Bobbys since they opened their doors (2007, I think) - we may have visited for our last time yesterday. Since the beginning, their draw for my wife and I anyway, was the fresh fries. Hand cut and fried to order. So good. The burgers were pretty good... but the toppings bar was great. And the manager, Jessica, always had that place running like a top. Over the last couple of years, their chicken tenders and Tuesday chicken tender special drew us away from the burgers. But yesterday we both felt like burgers - so, since I had a $10 credit thanks to their flaky, wonky rewards program - why not go to Cheeseburger Bobbys? They advertised their new Firecracker Burger with fried onions and fried jalapenos on top. That reminded me of a great burger I had in San Diego years ago at Coco's called the "barbed wire burger". So we both ordered it. First off - the fries are no longer fresh. They are food service fries - and that was very disappointing. Second, the fried toppings on the burger were tiny, scant and burnt to a crisp. Very disappointing. AND although I was told I had earned a $10 credit the last time I had visited that location - they only gave me $5 off this time. It didn't even surprise me - their rewards program is not all-together. Anyway, while edible - yesterday's lunch was very disappointing. Oh well. Good things don't...
