Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Georgia

My husband and I came in yesterday, May 25 for the first time ever! The restaurant looked clean, and was not busy at all! We grabbed a menu that was by the front door and sat at a table to look over the menu first before we went up to the register. We both ordered the Chicken Salad BLT both on croissants. I picked the Buffalo Barclay chicken salad to add to my sandwich. My husband added the Kickin' Kay Lynne chicken salad to his sandwich. We each had a cup of soup as the side. I had the chicken florentine, and my husband had the loaded potato. We also added one scoop of their Dixie Chick chicken salad!

The chicken salad BLT is on their menu under the 'Signature Sandwiches' section and it states that you can pick a side, a cup of soup, or a scoop. Then you can add another one for $2. When we placed the order we were wanting to add another scoop of chicken salad for $2. We told the cashier that we wanted to add another scoop for $2. She kept telling us that there is nothing ringing up on the register for $2 and that we can't do it. So we kept showing her the menu where is says it and she still didnt understand and she wouldn't ring it in. She told us that it would be over $4 for another scoop after we kept showing her the menu. So WE asked for the manager. The manager came and was able to ring it in the right way. It would not have been a problem with us if the cashier just simply said she wasn't sure how to do it and got the manager in the first place, instead of telling us we can't do it even though the menu said we can.

Now the food! The Dixie Chick is super delish😍 It has a nice strong onion taste! I didnt think it was overwhelming at all! We loved it! The loaded potato soup was great! The chicken florentine was not flavorful at all. But there are salt and pepper shakers at the table which helped! My chicken BLT with the Buffalo Barclay chicken salad on the croissant was huge! But the Buffalo Barclay chicken salad tasted like just a bunch of mayonnaise. It had no flavor, spice, or any kind of buffalo chicken flavor. I was very disappointed in the taste. Portion size was great! My husband's chicken salad BLT with the Kickin Kay Lynne was also a great portion size! But only had a hint of flavor, the majority of what we tasted was mayonnaise. In our opinion the chicken salad needs more flavor period! And some hot sauce! We wanted some but they dont have any here.

This is absolutely the most amazing place I have ever eaten. If I could give this 10 star's I would. They were VERY clean .. Their customer service was above and beyond and Marsha the store manager was at the least awesomeness and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of in every aspect and made our experience just that much better. We are very picky about where and what we eat and this is the only place I can say with absolute certainty that I love everything they have and it has an atmosphere to match and as a bonus there is even a drive through for the times you can not go in to enjoy this great place. I literally can not say enough how fantastic our experience was and we look forward to returning many times and will definitely be telling everyone to try it out .... You'll be hooked once you...

Two bad experiences in two days — extremely disappointing, especially when trying to treat visiting family.

Night one: our order was incomplete, though I will say the manager was very helpful and kind over the phone, which I appreciated.

Unfortunately, day two was just as bad. The order was again missing items — no large grape salad, no broccoli salad, and only two packs of crackers for three chicken salads. The manager began to question me when I said this order isn’t right either but when I asked for toppings and cracker I was silenced because she had done that. No you have not. Do your job

This level of carelessness two days in a row is unacceptable. I expect better quality and attention to detail, especially from a place known for takeout. Won’t be coming back...
