I have never left a place so frustrated, disappointed and upset! We arrived at 7:40pm Sunday 2/23/2020. Party of 7 - 5 adults, 2 children. We were seated immediately no wait, our server came over almost immediately and as for our drink orders. Brought them back quickly and the took our orders. In another 5 she brought out my chips and salsa. Now when I placed my order I had asked for the guacamole which had a charge of $1.50 fine no problem. Then another server stopped and brought a side salad. I figured when she swings by I’ll mention the guac. She quickly glances at our table and says I’ll get you guys refills and is gone before I can tell her about my guac. She comes back leaves the drinks and walks away without asking if we needed anything. At this point we are about 30 mins waiting for our food and our server is nowhere to be found and the chips are gone so I figure I’ll just tell them to remove the guac. It’s 8:20 about and a party of 10 adults arrives and sits in the tables beside us. I see the server helping us help them grabs drink orders and again doesn’t stop to ask us or inform us anything about our food. We are still patiently waiting. 8:47 rolls around and the party of 10 is already served and eating! ALL TEN PPL THAT ARRIVED AFTER US! Suddenly another server swings by with a plate of fajitas and says they told me to bring this and bumps into our server who then says oh I don’t know what’s going on with the food, I’ve been asking for them to bring it out and then walks away. Didn’t even look at us to apologize just walked away. We waited about another 10 mins, 6 ppl including 2 children just sitting around waiting for their food while one of us had a meal! Finally here comes our waiter with our food and I couldn’t be more excited. She’s hands us our food and walks away. Off the bat the food looks and smells delicious, but as I try to pick up my hamburger the top bun is as hard as a ROCK! My brother in laws chicken sandwich as well too bun as hard as a ROCK! We wave down a guy who I assume is the manager as he is the only one wearing a blue shirt everyone else has a grey shirt on and I ask he is the manager, I explain to him that we are trying to be patient and understanding that they might be busy but that our buns are as hard as a rock I literally KNOCK on it! He apologizes and says “We really dropped the ball as we aren’t even busy and I will bring you guys top buns” he walks away. I’m waiting for my bun and I open up my burger and the melted cheese is literally almost nonexistent the patty is WHITE on the inside meaning it must have been sitting under the warmer lamp for a long time! I think look at our kids grilled cheese and his bread is also as hard as a rock and cheese is BLACK! Literally burnt! At this point I am livid! I wave down the manager again show him my burger and the grill cheese he apologizes again and says he will bring us a new one. Or server at this point hasn’t stopped by since she dropped of our food. It’s takes about 10 mins for our server to bring out the new burger and grill cheese. The top bun is soft the burger meat is warm and looks a little better. I cut it in half or at least try to and as I pick it up the bottom bun is as hard as a ROCK! THEY LITERALLY JUST TRIED TO SERVE ME THE BURGER I SENT BACK WITH A DIFFERENT TOP BUN! ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!!!!!!! I tell the server to take it back at this point I don’t even want it and to just take it off my check. I had purchased the 3 for $10 meal. Well the manager brings it after I have asked for the manager to do something for the inconvenience. He hands me the bill and says “look at the bottom does that seem like a good enough discount for you” as if he were doing me a favor!!! Really? You guys really just tried to give me back a burger I sent back!!!!!! He took off $7 out of the $10 for my meal and $6 for the grill cheese. So they literally charged me for the drink after everything I had to deal with!!!!! SERIOUSLY?????!!!!! I paid, I was too upset to talk to a manager who didn’t help make me feel better! Worst...
Read moreChili’s has always been my one of favorite places to eat out of all the other restaurants. If you are looking for a place to eat that offers American and Mexican cuisine,Chili’s is the way to go! I've been to the Lawrenceville Suwanee location plenty of times, and I have always received excellent service. The waiter or waitress I have had, are always nice and very helpful. They were always trying their hardest to please the customers. This is one of the top reasons I keep coming back here. Great service is always a plus! The other day my friends and I decided to go to Chili’s after work. Usually when we arrive, the hostess is always in place at the front door and they act really friendly. On my most recent visit it was not busy at all and we were seated quickly at a booth. One thing that many people find helpful are the tablets located on the tables. This tablet lets you order drinks and deserts without having to call the person serving you. It also gives you an option to pay your bill with card, which is very convenient if you are rushing to get out and pay faster. Another cool thing the tablet offers are the mini games. These are fun and will keep you entertained for a little bit while you wait on the food. It does cost money but the price is nothing too serious. The waiter asked for our drinks and then brought out tortilla chips and salsa which were very addicting. I had to stop myself from eating too much because I was starting to get full. Every time I go to Chili’s, I always stick to the same thing. Which is the triple dipper off of the appetizers menu. It allows you to pick three different appetizers. I am usually indecisive when it comes to picking what to eat off of a menu and I love a variety of different foods so this was the way to go. I decided to get it as my meal. The three appetizers I chose were the Boneless buffalo wings, crispy chicken crispers and Big mouth bites. The boneless buffalo wings were pretty tasty, all of my friends kept taking them from me! The crispy chicken crispers were really good as well with all of the dipping sauces. And last but not least the big mouth bites were delicious especially if you are the kind of person who loves burgers. Not only is the food amazing but the prices are great too! My whole meal and drink was all under twenty dollars. I also remember my friends ordering from the two for twenty menus. This offer is for two people and it lets them pick one entrée and one appetizer each all for the price of twenty dollars. The prices at Chili’s are really not bad considering that the food is amazing. Our server was very outgoing, nice and attentive. The food also never seems to disappoint. Overall, my friends and I had a fantastic experience. I am sure that all of us will be coming back to this location soon.It is a great place to go if you are in the area, or if you do not feel like cooking that night! Also if you need a quick, convenient lunch or dinner, then I would recommend Chili's Grill and Bar on Lawrenceville...
Read moreI used to love Chili’s… like friday nights back in my hometown in Michigan would be my best memory of Chili’s. I would still get Chili’s, but it would be a last option; like if there is nowhere else to eat. Chili’s not the best restaurant but it is not the worst. Chili’s serves a variety of food: Burgers, Salads, Bowls, Quesadillas, Sandwiches, Steak, Ribs and more. My go-to is the Chicken Quesadillas with Fries and ranch. I usually go with my sister, and she gets the Chicken Fajita. For drinks, I would get either Ginger-Ale or Lemonade and my sister would get Dr. Pepper or a Margarita. Since I moved from Michigan to Georgia in 2015, I have not had Chili’s as much as I used to. I stayed in Newnan for 7 years and the restaurant was not in or nearby Newnan. Over time I forgot about the restaurant. Time has passed and I moved to Lawrenceville for college. After I moved into my dorm, we drove around to see what was there to eat. Since Chili’s is nearby, we decided to eat there. We went inside and the host greeted us, grabbed our menus, and escorted us to our table. While we were walking to our table, I noticed a roach that was nearby our table and panicked. We let our host know after me and my sister was seated. She apologized and took care of the situation. Within a few minutes our host came back with pen and paper ready to take our orders. I asked for the Chicken Tenders meal with Fries and ranch. My sister asked for Chicken Fajitas. Our host took our order and went to the kitchen. Me and my sister waited for a while, but the host always came back to refill our drinks. After 20 minutes we started to question how the food was coming along and asked our host when she was not busy helping other customers about our food. She told us it was going to be ready in a couple of minutes. Twenty-minutes became forty-minutes. At this point we became furious. We asked the host about the food, and she decided to check the kitchen for us. After 5 minutes, the host came back with our food. We were excited to receive our food. When the host put or food on the table, she asked us is there anything else that we needed. We did not need anything else, so the host left. The first thing that we noticed is that our food was not steaming hot. I took a bite of my Chicken Tender and realized that it was warm. I did not say much because it was just sitting out and that the cook forgot to serve my order. My sister took a bit from her food, and she complained that her food was cold. When the host came back by to ask if we needed anything again, we expressed to the host that our food was warm. As if the chef just put our food in the microwave. The host apologized and asked if we wanted a refund. We ended up not getting the refund and my sister just paid for the food and we left the restaurant. So overall, I would give Chili’s a 3-star rating. I am going to give it three stars because our host was nice. We notified our host that our food was not hot, and she apologized about it and...
